Just went to Sony center in curve to molest this beast. Have to say it is incredibly thin. But I notice that the back cover is plastic like it's predecessor. And the back plastic actually wrap around to the side of the device. Then the aluminum strip are like ' glued' to the center of the sides. And I am not really liking this plastic side. It felt rough, like unpolished or unfinished... Maybe it was done that way so that we get a better grip of the device. But I can't help feeling it's unfinished product...

Other than that, screen is awesome. But I have to turn off the x- reality when I am viewing the spiderman2 trailer as the over saturated color of the x- reality makes the movie worse.

The loud speaker is ok. But the environment is quite noisy so I have to max out the volume to hear the sound from the trailer.

And no free gift whatsoever a of now...

I am skipping it. Won't updates my current Tablet Z as the price is insane and not worth the value.

Stupid pricing by sony malaysia! Sony will always love killing themselves for pricing it product too premium price. Vaio is dead coz of that.

Any good news ? Still waiting for buying it with worth for the price .. Why sony why ??? Why u dont do promotion this tablet ????

RM1999 by sony malaysia, really ripped off malaysian consumer. RM500 more expensive than Z1 tablet. Crazy pricing might as well buy ipad air lo

I've sold all apple product like iPhone, iPad, macbook n switch to sony last year.
Getting z, z ultra then z1. N tablet z as well. Think of changing to z2 tablet once it launch. But it's so let down when hearing the price. Really disappointed n upset.

I cracked my tablet z screen last night while watching Liverpool match. Today I went to Sony Centre and they freaking quote me Rm1.6k just to fix the screen. So I'm giving up fixing my old tab z. I can't accept the fact that I'm living without a tab. So I went to apple to try the ipd air, is kind of nice and solid moreover I don't think I can Crack ipad's screen so easily compare to the Z. But I can't accept the fact that I cannot transfer file easily using ipad. So I went to Sony and straight buy the tab z2 lte. Just gotta promise my self to be extra careful this time.

Anyway I bought without freebies and one year warranty. Pretty expensive.

seems to me sony is not really pushing for sales of z2 tablet... it's quite common to have some sort of sales/promotion/freebies upon launch. but this nothing at all...
