rad : thx, still trying to get used to the cam and still pretty shy of having ppl look at u one kind so still dare not really go for all the angles i like, or at the angles that i like there's something blocking the standing space.. architecture + landscape is what i love about photography tongue.gif more so compared to macro + portraits.

aegis : yes indeed.. perth is VERY beautiful biggrin.gif u comin here for studies or?

KVR : what assignment? if u need i can send u the raws if u want smile.gif

rad : yeah, stayed at the same spot for 1hour +, stood there, snap some, read a book, snap, read book tongue.gif 3 singaporean girls and 2 jap chicks came up and asked me to help them snap pics tongue.gif good hunting grounds XD problem is the place is blocked by the shrubbery growth behind the railings, so i had to place my tripod on the railing itself, which is less than 20cm wide, so the tripod aint that steady resulting in the night images being blur sad.gif btw, update ur gallery la u lazy boi biggrin.gif

wild : thanks, will try to snap some more night ones when possible, need a place that i can actually place the tripod tho =/

your boat shed shots are good, love the minimalism it carries. Great job biggrin.gif

and for the 2nd one i like #2, #3, #4 and #7 thumbup.gif

lol about your tripod problem, try placing some rocks on the stand of your tripod, or load some heavy stones into a bag, then tie it hanging underneath the tripod, it shud add some weight thus stabelizing the tripod smile.gif

dunno.. maybe cos i used f/2.8? or maybe cos its too dark already when i took it tongue.gif? well, regardless, its a pain in the a** to take macros outdoor now, have to stand directly in front of the subject so composition is completely screwed, cos if i dont, the wind thats blowing non stop would sway them sad.gif

hmmm, try using something like f/6-8 if dark, use a flash tongue.gif haha, hmmm sometimes when the wind's there it kinda adds up to the photo as its like creating movement smile.gif but u muz have a great sense of timing to do tat haha

rad : hard ler.. macro shots once the wind come then mampus d, sway abit also blurr d wad.. tried going up to f/5, but the shutter had to be real slow, and even if i move a lil it'll be blur d sad.gif

clemong : yeah im in uwa as well. u could ask ur parents to travel up north if they have the time, to kalbarri and monkey mia to look at the gorges and feed the dolphins. heard it's really beautiful there, but downside is that u have to drive about 600km to reach it. in the vicinity of the city there's nth much to do ler, just some uninteresting sight seeing nia =/
