Nokia L630



What will the price range will be in MY?? I'm planning to get L525 sometime in May. But after seeing L630, I think why not alang alang go for L630. Anyone using it now??

guess the price gonna be twice lumia 525.

going back to nokia because of its awesome camera. once owned c6-01, although fixed focus but the 8mp camera just nice plus 720p video recording.

Kinda disappointed with this model. Only worth it if the pricing is less than RM550.

- 512MB RAM
- No front camera
- No LED flash (useful as flashlight)
- <2000mA with 4.5" IPS

Please check if it has illumined key light (search, home and back keys).

L630 has not capacitive key button, it's using on-screen button

I see. I guess this is the first model without the dedicated button. Is there a dedicated camera button for 630?

Dont go with anything less than 1GB RAM. It's the only thing hindering my L720 to be the perfect smartphone imo.

Doesn't support a few apps and crashes when loading too many things at once (in IE and browser-related apps like Baconit)

According to this article, It appears that the L630 doesn't have a "true ClearBlack display" eventhough it's branded with CBD. Instead it uses a 'sunglasses'-like 'lamination' rather than a full polarizer set which have been included in other CBD-equipped device.

What's your take on this?

Count me in..good phone for the price I paid (rm 350) 1 month used phone..just want to test wp environment as my iphone sent for repair..but quite frustated as it failed to launch here drive+ apps

yeah, I thought so.. My old (late) L 900 also got no lagging issues with it's 512 MB RAM.. The problem only occur when we use other apps, it takes time to load LINE apps..

Though, still thinking to buy L630 to replace my cracked L900

Better you buy something much better like L925 since L630 doesn't seem to be much of an upgrade from L900.
I used to own a L620 and now a L925 and it is a much better experience overall with the L925

my l525 not having that prob...even as my 2nd phone,it still do its job well even dual core phone

l630 is quad core phone and diff with my l525 but l525 got better ram (1g) l630 only 512mb

It's nothing..the apps is the culprit..take the advice from fellow forumer to uninstall and install back the apps..it run perfectly at last

Been using Lumia 630 for a week now.
Bought it for my mum, but using it first before passing it over.

Coming from Android base (GNex user), Lumia 630 really impressed me.
WP8.1 is very nice to use.

For apps side, since I don't game on mobile, I feel is sufficient for normal user. Necessity apps such as FB and whatsapp are there so no biggie in migrating over.

Just missing a few local apps like GSC, lelong etc.


Looking forward for L830 for better camera and front facing cam

Bought the L630 as a secondary phone. It's not bad, but wish it had a front camera. Hard to take selfies using the back camera. Performance wise no problem so far.
