He he he FSM is da flavour of the day. When I first join this forum Pub-Mut is de-rigeur! Now is bumped.

I am happy the FSM is getting more love these days... hopefully with greater competition, this will make agency based UT comp like Pub-Mut & MAAKL lower their fees.

Yea I remember when bonds were king, AmDynamic Bond was fully subscribed and posting a profit of 6% p.a. -- for a time it achieved the impossible, 6% p.a. with no entry fees smile.gif

no need to specific...just a rough indicator will do..eastspring/kenanga equity type based funds..

"do you the exit fees for eastspring or kenanga" makes no sense. Do you mean, do I like it, or do I know it? or do I not know it, or what do I know about it, or what don't I know about it, or what?

I believe there are no exit fees, last I sold there were none anyway. Actually it seems there was an exit fee in AmDynamic Bond, but no entry fees.

sold..different fund house? FSM, eunittrust.  really no redemption fees or exit fees?  flex.gif
*
I don't think fund houses charge for redemption, except in rare cases like AmDynamic Bond, if there are redemption fees it should be stated in the prospectus or FSM/EUT's web page for it smile.gif

yea, nothing...so buy at 0%SC and exit with no fees...but then how these ppl/fund houses earn or very low...based on mgt fees?  or ...
As you aware..banks selling UTs..internal or ext, require 1 to 3% SC...
*
Yea management fees of course smile.gif

these mgt fees, will be deducted daily, then revised NAV in which deducted their mgt fees. No wonder some fund house cum distributor can resort to 0%SC and no exit fees also..
*
Yea that's how it's done smile.gif

Most likely DCA at fault especially if you start DCA with rm100 instead of initial rm1000. After full year, only your initial investment of rm100 benefit from full year return, the rest are not.
*
You can't start with Rm100. Min for most funds is Rm1,000.

They are good enough  for my portfolio too balance my risk profile and regional exposure.

Nothing wrong if to conservative or aggressive. All depends to individual risk profile, age and objectives.
*
Yea exposure-wise they're not bad.. but Rm5000 lump sum.. hmm.

Anybody planning to go cash heavy soon? I see FD rates gradually going up. Seems like recession brewing... Exit and top up lumsum when stock market crash?

Not sure why I should be paying them another 2% smile.gif but cash heavy is never the answer, look for other markets to be in smile.gif

RHB-OSK Growth And Income Focus Trust

is making good profits. Should I exit the fund and take profits first?
what u guys think?
*
Why do you invest in a UT if you want to take out the profits? might as well be in the stock market if you are doing that, pick a bluechip and ride the uptrend, much cheaper and probably less risky. It's silly to pay someone 2% and then take out when you make a profit. Someone is working for you for free, and you want to fire him when he is doing well? makes no sense lol smile.gif

Also, if you are buying CMF for the primary account (funding primary account) make sure you are not on the beneficiary account when you should be on the primary account smile.gif just made that mistake, now I have to sell the CMF from the beneficiary account, and re-buy it from the primary one, that will take a week tongue.gif

I'm planning to buy those more aggressive ones so the movement is a lot faster and sell when there's like a few % of profit (fingers crossed). I don't think there's any penalty if we sell within a short of period of time, like few months...yes?
*
Check to see if there's a min holding period, exit fees etc. But seriously why? you're going to gamble, might as well buy small cap at the stock market. Paying 2% for that kind of risk, doesn't seem to make sense smile.gif

If you are going to dca via fxpay it will have to be more than 500 otherwise they will charge rm2 tongue.gif
