You are aware that this is a wholesale fund with Min invest RM 50K close-end fund with a lock in period of 5 years with no possibility of early redemption and only opened to Qualified Investors (total networth must be > RM3Million).

This fund is not for retail investors!

what will happen if we lie about our net worth and buy in with RM50,000?

To RHB, you lie lu punya pasal... they will still take your money, earn the commis!

This ruling is imposed by Sec-Com to protect retail investors esp these closed-end fund that behaves like private equity.

As long as you sendiri admit as "qualified investors", they will take it as Uberiimae Fidei.

If you guys expert in this area say ok, i am willing to follow you guys to buy and take the risk.

If i were you, I will take the 50K to buy into an open ended funds with good track record.. have the flexibility

Agreed.. unless 50k is nothing to you then maybe, otherwise not.

But the return wise may not be the same.

Perhaps they could achieve very high return in short term.

RO Player may love it.

But...close-ended fund macam takda distributions wor...that Sakai Cat will not love this
