I hope you don't spot me as another rich guy. For all we know, I could be the poorest among you guys.  biggrin.gif

Another well-off guy spotted (I didn't say "rich" lol) smile.gif

Thanks for the reply smile.gif It seems that it makes more sense to open through FSM. However, i went with open through Hwang directly as I am new to UT and investment, so i thought that it may be useful to have some advice from the consultants.  blush.gif

Would this jack up the management fee?
*
It should... the funny thing is, if it does, the price on the funds carried by them would not be the same as the price on the same funds carried by FSM... so I don't see how that is possible smile.gif

One can sell AND transfer to FSM at 0% SC IF one wants to consolidate or have more options smile.gif
*
Yea if you sell and move to any other fund house at 0% SC, you don't lose anything, but you can gain from the higher growth smile.gif

Sell because its performance is not impressive. IRR is on par with 1 year FD only.
*
Yea.. FSM and EUT should go after the high-value clients of PM with the 0% SC offer, imagine how much they are losing now because of all their low-growth funds tongue.gif

Spoken to a few friends, realize that people are still more comfortable with investing through a agent. Not sure what to expect since I have never invest through an agent before.
*
Weird... makes you wonder if FSM/EUT should have a agent division for people who like agents.

Wodenus,

FSM or eUT already have a division that use agents or intermediaries. FSM's division is called IFast and eUT is called F.A.M.E. These two portals work with Licensed Financial Planner and CUTA (Corporate Unit Trust Advisors).

i think i still have 10-20 lots after some profit taking..

my 1st batch bought at .7x, sold at 1.xx, then bought again at 1.xx, sold some at 2.1x (after split, which means 4.2x before split).

best return from investment for me so far  biggrin.gif

sorry mods - off topic.

anyhow - hey, there's fear in the market now http://money.cnn.com/data/fear-and-greed/

finally - not just seeing the link above but personally seen in US index options, more / easier to get premium for sellers (due to fear) than past 2 months. sharpen your spears for hunting  laugh.gif

There's been fear in the market for months, pretty much everyone thinks it's overextended.

FSM Switch Buy/Sell cost calculation is wrong somewhere I think... the result is correct, but the cost they display seems wrong, imma check with them tomorrow smile.gif

Ha my parents wanted to buy gold and I was like... did you really want to buy at a multi-year high lol smile.gif anyway.. a few things :

(1) Does it seem to anyone that FSM Switch buy is slower (takes more days) than FPX buy ?

(2) Anyone calculated the Weighted Average Cost? it seems weird... for instance I bought one fund at 0.4532 but the WAC is 0.4629... or something like that. Shouldn't both be the same if that's the only transaction?
