My last period came on 1 March. Supposed to have period on around 29 March but i took Norcolut to delay my period. I took Norcolut from 26 March until 30 March. Then I tool ECP Escapelle on 31 March. Until now (7 April) i havent got my period yet.
Is this normal? Very worried now..

I also had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on 15 March (but he didnt come in me) I also didnt take any ECP after that.

any girls can share their experience or can give any advice? I'm teriblly scared now..

Why did you take ECP on 31/3?
How long is your usual menstrual cycle days? 29 days?

15/3 - high chance of ovulation, unprotected sex, even if didn't came in you, still higher chance than other days.

Today is 7/4, pregnancy test kits can detect pregnancy already by now. Go pharmacy and buy to test. If negative, then relax and wait for 1-3 months for your menstrual cycle to stabilize itself again, all those hormone pill gonna mess up your cycle for sure. If positive, there is still a way but you have to be firm and sure with your decision first.

Hi thanks for replying.
I took ECP on 31/3 coz the night before i had sex with my boyfriend. Again he didnt come in me but a bit of it dripped onto my V. So i took ECP for precaution.

My cycle is usually very regular.

sad.gif yeah.. i will go buy pregnancy test after work today and see.
I know it is so stupid of us not to use protection.

Hi Munkey,

I did a pregnancy test last night. Came out negative. I read online that the pregnancy hormone to be detected by test kit is highest early in the morning. So, this morning i tested again. Also negative.

Pregnancy tests are quite accurate. So if you're still paranoid, best to get a blood test done at a clinic to test for pregnancy hormones. Otherwise, nothing else you can do other than stop messing up your natural hormone cycle already. Eat well, rest well and it'll soon go back to normal. Taking ECP may mess up the cycle for up to 3 months. Different ppl react to it differently. Hence, try to avoid if possible.

I have had bad experience with norcolut too, had terrible mood swings when I was taking it and the cramps were totally unbearable when I stop to let my menses come back. So just avoid any of these hormone pills if you already have a stable menstrual cycle.

Hi Munkey,

I think i'll just relax and calm down for a couple of weeks and see if my period comes. If by end of this month i still havent gotten my period, i'll go to the doctor to check.

Thank you so much for your advice smile.gif

Glad to hear that. You're on the right path. Don't get all stressed up and paranoid as that can also mess up your hormones even more. Take care smile.gif
