install the apps thru Aptoide, not from google play.
i can install the mx player n es file explorer, now i can watch movies from my NAS successfully.

I think I did try that before.i think I tried to install es explorer and same thing happen.
I will try it again to double confirm.

NEED your HELP friend.... after i successfully install HyppTV-EC6106V5-GApps-All and restart my stb... all the app is in my application. i open the playstore and required to keyin email and i choice as existing user. i keyin my email username n password. after a few second the error appear 'can't established a reliable connection to server' but in web browser i still can browse. So untill now i cant open my play store.... can someone help me to solve my problem.

do you guys using apteoid, using what port? im using tplink wr841nd, and port 1 for hypptv. if i use port 1, aptoid dont want to load. i need to change other port to make it work. any idea how to make it work just using port 1 lan?

im using both lan port and wifi.
lan - for iptv, accessing my NAS
wifi - for aptoide download etc that use internet

why am i get the unsupported youtube app?

some one who successfully root and upload aptoide, can post the full instruction rather than one piece here and one piece there.

funny thing is i can't get ES File Explorer to work...installed via Aptoide

but i can use the stock media player to stream files from my laptop (DLNA)

there is something strange to me...
I change the display setting in my hypptv box under "Settings" option and change from 720p/60 to 1080p/60

My TV showed that now it is in 1080p/60 mode.. After I select HyppTV and going to see LUKE HD then my TV blackout a while and TV now showed only 480p..

If I press Home button in my remote, my TV change back to 1080p/60

How to solve this ?

hello everyone, i am new in forum. Tomorrow the tm guy comes to install router, hypptv stb etc. I dont want any cables on my walls so i was wondering if the stb has built-in wifi or i can get a usb wifi antenna so i can connect to the router wirelessly. I want to have the router near my desktop computer coz i want it connected via ethernet.

The latest version of the Huawei EC6106V5 has built-in wifi.

I was given one unit by TM when I had UniFi installed, but I think the wifi connection is only meant for Streamyx.

But if they give me the Huawei EC6106V5 i will be able watch tv via wifi right? all devices in 2014 have wifi...how they can give ip tv without wifi.

bro, how you setup your lan to assess your NAS? you using port 4?

kalau nak install gapps,just rename file ni g update.zip je ke?--- HyppTV-EC6106V5-GApps-All.zip

For :
- IPTV.. u need to use the LAN on port 4..
- Surfing / streaming / your -- NAS.. u need to use the build-in WiFi..

Note :
- The EC6106V5 decoder have 2 network device.. the LAN port and build-in WiFi..
- You can connect both ( LAN & WiFi ) at the same time.. because its a different network.. the only problem is that.. later u will have a problem with the IPTV decoder ( after reboot the decoder or reboot the main router ).. this is due to the main router [ RG4332 ] problem.. the only solution is to buy a new router which support unifi..

For LAN u must use build-in WiFi..
