U need report polis first,
need fast oh, remember must be within 24 hrs,
but u need pay summon RM300 first.

If the owner willing to sette, why not?

Please try to sette with owner first.
If the amount is ok for u, then need not claim
your own insurance. Need not make a polis report.

If the damage is out of yrs budget, too burden for you.
then, u have no choice, but to claim your own insurance.
In order to claim yrs own insurance, u need make a polis report
to support yrs claim.

Not much issue with polis, they will study the case, if yrs fault, then
you get a max summon of Rm300.00. Need not worry, they wouldnot
detain you for 48 hours because of this, but please prepare at least a
few hour in polis station (traffic) waiting for report /question procedure.

Btw, yrs NCD RM300 only?, it comprehensive or third party insurance?
