Just installed the rear boot spoiler.....supplied by GS

The iStop could be kicking in because the engine has stopped for too long and the aircon is running out of juice. So the car automatically starts back to keep the aircon cool.

1) my full tank also around that range, not sure is normal...b'cos your FC = 11.2 is an average number, I believe cannot be an absolute calculation as = (52/11.2) x 100....

2) the engine restart is also triggered by moving the stirring wheel....

Hi bro, the FC very subjective as in many factors will cause it having high FC, such as traffic condition & ur foot <= (critical). I'm having 8.7-8.8L/100km nw with 100% city drive with less jam. Usually switch gear below 3k RPM and using paddleshift often to make it smoother change. Full tank mostly >500km , worst is 48xkm, that time try on BHP 97 (shell 97/vpower racing better FC) . Suggest you download an apps call FuelLog in iOS/android, it will calculate the FC. Our fuel tank is 52L but when we pump during yellow usually is only 43-48L only, so can't calculate base on the 52L cause it's inaccurate.

I'm having screen blackout too, twice already and went to Mazda Sg besi , they perform the reset only since they don't have update of that. Seems like Puchong , glenmarie and PJ already have the update (v29) , I'll go to 1 of those branches.

About the i-stop, from my experience it usually will stop maximum 2min, after that restart. So if ur still in traffic , put to D and shift Bk to neutral will help. Whenever there is hot climate, it will restart more frequent no matter which gear & foot on break not.
Hi bro, I encounter this twice, suggest u to go PJ, Puchong or glenmarie to update the software of infotainment (v29)

Shell 95 I think is the worst among all branded RON 95 , try bhp 95 once.

my infotainment cant read the usb now...
it playing song half way then hang there...
other menu still able to access...only the usb...
i try to plug the usb into my laptop, is able to read...
anyone experienced this before?

i also tested max for 195kmh only, but need 5th gear to drag until 4-5k rpm...

i'm afraid of the engine mounting and the starter as you mentioned. it getting louder and bigger vibration when i travel longer...
can you still achieve good fc if you turn off istop? 8L/100km?

if i'm not mistaken, battery can also claim free withing X months...right?

how do i know if there is something wrong with my beauty eloop?
i've asked them do i need to update the eloop during my 1st service last monday and they told me it's affected for mazda 6 only.
mazda 3 is not affected...so i assume they will nvr check for me...

time for timing belt replacement perhaps? every 50k need to replace...in your case maybe its going to be early, something got in between maybe, could be dirt, small stones, water....have it check

For those that justify why this car is expensive?

a. Skyactiv Technology- You can get 162HP and able to achieve FC at 8.5L per 100km. Compression of 14:1 is the highest in the world currently. (Although I dunno what it means. )

b. KODO design - If you look sideway, it looks like those Conti Sport Sedan (Jaguar, Mers, etc) but those are above RM220k. This one consider cheap.

c. MZD and Control - Similiar to BMW i-Drive. The cheapest BMW is RM209k.. What else do you want from Mazda?

d. Although only got I-Eloop and I-Stop, already my colleague are impress with the technology. I-Eloop is the main thing why I bought this car.

That is why Bermaz is selling higher because they know this is already one of the best seller in the world and receive lots of praises. In fact, never seen any car that is the "Car Of The Year" finalist in many countries and continent.

Expensive? Maybe but you look at the design, you cannot deny it's a sexy sport sedan. Even now, still got people show up and say, this car looks damn good. And still got girls looking.. Sadly, I got faceproblem.
