QUOTE(Xander-G @ Jul 4 2014, 10:59 AM) My guess will be the purpose to have cleaner look. In some track racing, racing cars' exhaust tip usually being aimed downward as well to prevent visible smoke covering the vision of tailgater (Mazda3 tips are downward too behind the bumper since u cant see it). Agree that they might want it cleaner look.Because few years down the road, they might come out M3 Sedan Sport version, with tailpipe out. |

QUOTE(SpIcYjOe @ Jul 8 2014, 03:43 PM) I have personally tried having a reverse sensor and to be frank. I rather not have it. it makes reversing ever more stressful. The reverse sensor is not sensitive. Thus, quite stressful. Among all, Toyota is the best.QUOTE(calvinsn @ Jul 8 2014, 03:51 PM) Bro, when install the K&N filter? |

QUOTE(XiuKeong @ Jul 9 2014, 08:49 AM) After I switched back to the stock, I can't notice if there's any difference. Need to change spark plug to iridium as well Got differencelah. Acceleration part..How to describe. The Air Filter is like a human lungs. You can increase your lung capacity, allow more air intake but if you don't have proper exhale, doesn't give that full power. That is why people normally after install Air Injection kit, the next one is exhaust system, allows "exhale" better for car. Since the K&N is a standard air kit, don't really feel the power because it was meant to give better accel in standard car. So, technically, Air Filter can increase HP around 2%-5%, so, 162HP is now 165 to 170 HP |

QUOTE(Lennywrx @ Jul 10 2014, 12:37 PM) Hi Guys I just spoke to a friend in the performance business and he said his dealer told him there isn't a Mazda3 skyactive KNN filter in Malaysia market yet. So is your filter specific to Mazda3 kodo or another older model? So the 33-2480 is correct or not? This news is on the KNN site which mentions the product is there: http://www.knfilters.com/news/news.aspx?ID=4461 The K&N 33-2480 performance air filter fits the following vehicle: 2014 Mazda CX-5 2.5L 2014 Mazda CX-5 2.0L 2014 Mazda 6 2.5L 2013 Mazda CX-5 2.0L 2013 Mazda3 SkyActiv 2.0L 2012 Mazda3 SkyActiv 2.0L I'm using this model. |

QUOTE(champu @ Jul 11 2014, 02:41 AM) hey fellas, am new to the mazda scene. I consider this to be a major update from my proton days. Am now waiting for my M3 due out in another month You estimate around RM1,200 to RM1,500 per service. My Q for now, what sort of maintenance fee should I be expecting? any old timers here care to name some prices? |

I notice most of the latest models are using the same model air filter (33-2480) which is good in someway.. Mazda 6 2012 , CX5 and M3... I get from LYN. buyer is Speedworks. You can look at the Garage scetion. |

Haha..
Earlier, Prius and M3 is the same price. Now Prius is RM100k expensive than M3. So, when passed them, must give way to this 'premium' car. |

So, dunno where went but clock to 14,000km++ Despite warranty service is 10k for each service, I think wanna go service every 5,000km.. Reason was engine can last longer.. I was thinking of change every 20,000km but scared like Honda City, where they use the wrong GB oil, causes the CVT GB defect.. And Honda keep quiet about it. |

Just now I was driving in putrajaya, pushing my car to top speed.
At 160km felt like struggling. Is it because due to city drive, it can't go top speed anymore? |
