Motul doesn't come in 4L bottle like the one in SC. Each bottle is appx Rm45/liter.

Before accusing Bermaz.. Remember Honda offer 2 years free maintenance?

My Honda City was Free Service for 2 years. And they use the normal engine oil only.

After my 2 years over, only they say I can use the semi or fully synthetic.

Even I use their high Performance Fully Synthetic (the most expensive one) they also ask me to change every 5,000km

I asked them, aren't Fully Sync can last 10,000km? Technician said "You can continue to service every 10,000km but it will shorten the lifespan for the engine. Whether fully or semi"

After he said that, for the next 3 service, I use semi syn... 

Also, I told him that I'm frequent traveling outstation. He said actually, city driving is more damaging than highway drive because in city, we stop very frequently and causes wear and tear more on engine. 

I asked my other friend, SA for supercars also said city driving are more damaging to car's GB and engine in long run..

Who can verify this? 

   

So technically, drive highway is actually better than driving in city... 

Shell Fully Synthetic ? 5W 30?

SC told me that our Skyactive engine no okay with 5-40 ... u sure is okay?? 

I'm using shell helix ultra fully syn. Really got difference

So is it mean recommended to use fully synthetic when 1K service or Semi will be enough?

If the SA told me after the 1K service, then subsequently will only service at 10K, is that mean they are using fully synthetic oil?

By reading all your comments, seem like if want to use fully synthetic oil, need to top up, and semi synthetic oil only last for 5K. A bit confuse, the SA told me service at 10K, if they by default using semi synthetic, why can wait until 10K? But seem like you guys all need to top up to get fully synthetic, if default semi is 5K only... which mean SA is not telling the truth or she didn't study well?

Oh? So which mean if go for fully synthetic. 20k only service once? Is it good for the engine?

anyone going to change back their oil filter to the Original part? Model "PE01-14-302" ??  now i believe that most of us that got the 1K service is using the alternative model which is "B6Y1-14-302A" (Cheaper) ...

any1 feel any different after the service ? be4 my 1K service, i didn't really follow the "pantang" speed... i still Zoom Zoom, but feel very light and fast, but after service when i try to zoom, the feeling not the same..not as light as be4, was wondering if the oil filter is the one causing it  ...

anyone brother/sisters to confirm this? or was it my own imaginations?
