Starbucks part time RM 4.50 per hour. Full time RM5 per hour. And yes, hell loads of work for that amount

It's called a barista, not coffee maker. When I was working, part-timers get RM 5 an hour. Full timers get RM 750 per month I think.
It's hard work, but it's a lot of fun. But the money is most certainly not enough, don't you think? Even the managers get around 1K+. The above mentioned figure is of course valid for Gloria Jeans, 4 years back. Don't know if things changed. |

Yeah, you get paid RM4.50 as a part-timer and RM5.00 as a full-timer and trust me, you'll do all-arounder jobs for just that little pay, not too sure about DOME but surely it's the same since it's also FNB. Sliding anyone?

so everyone agreed that working as a barista is a waste of time?
well say,is it better to work as a retail assistant(fold clothes etc) or barista(make coffeee etc)? |
