b4 i oso not dare....but got 2 big bro infront of me using canon 30D and all his cam is wet and they dun even used his shirt or cloth to wipe the water on the cam...so i oso dun bother and shoot lor..but i constantly used my shirt to wipe the water la... mayb they r rich and wan upgrade

and they will say.. anthony, who is that guy...y he yam cha with us? he look scary ler..haha.......

haha...upgrade to DSLR no need reason 1...got money and like than just go for it. if no money what oso no need to say... hehe..i still wan save my cam to shoot Carrie and Joanne de...haha....

actually the light there is abit low and not shoot in the dark
for me..spot metering + AEL
actually got a light source hide behind the drink to lighten up the drink lor..

aiyo,vyruz dai kor...dun say teach la...i oso learn from thorrey 1,so i just repeat what thorrey teach me.

for me i just do some simple step:
1) used the spot metering and A mode.
2) try to fix the F-stop value first.
3) point to those area in between bright and dark area in ur pic and AEL lock the exposure and recompose ur photo
4) than shot shot shot....

that's all.... for me,when i move around my cam i can see throught my EVF and can see the exposure is changing...so if i see the exposure is right than lock it...
i just newbie...so mayb wildpiew and thorrey can explain better than that.

i not sure abt ur cam but my cam can choose the AEL to lock the exposure only or exposure and the focus. so u try search throught the manual book and check if there such a setting. or mayb u can try MF to focus.

b4 i oso not so understand how it work but after some try out...than u can see the different. if u point ur cam to those high contrast area and lock than ur pic will be under and if u point to those low contrast area than ur pic will bcum over so search some where in the middle. u can try lock on different area of ur pic than compare the result than u'll know.

yup,no flash...the light sourse actually hide behind the drink...when u go to those cafe, they like to put a candle on the table 1,just use that candle and put behind ur drinks...and used A mode + AEL.
