QUOTE(futra @ Apr 23 2014, 11:31 AM) That's the SADDEST part about it. I would proudly still call it Nokia whatever name is changed. Just imagine ppl ask what phone ure using, instead of saying 'Nokia' u'll say 'Oy' or 'Mobile Oy'.. Microsoft Mobile Oy is company name, I don' think they will put Microsoft Mobile Oy Lumia 930...probably just Lumia 930, just like last time we called blackberry phone but the old company name is RIM....so many don't know what is RIM, just know blackberry phone same like nexus phone, ppl don't called it Google Nexus phone, just nexus 4, 5 |

i'm think raya promo will drop to rm1799, then depavali promo rm1599
and last will drop to rm1499, this is the max price drop from nokia based on previous strategy....it will not drop to rm1000 unless stock clearance.... This post has been edited by xSean: Jul 1 2014, 01:56 PM |

QUOTE(capsulr @ Sep 11 2014, 11:21 PM) I got fed up of Nokia and their constant high priced low spec, lesser features phones strategy, so I got myself a oneplus one. However, my dad got a Lumia 630, i got to play around with it and I have to say the interface is really really not user friendly at all, need to scroll scroll scroll read everything, every line, because its not alphabetical order. Want to change ringtone also need to use computer to put in the ringtone folder, bloody hell nokia.. (if I'm doing something wrong please correct me, I still need to set the ringtone for my dad lol) no one ask u buy lumia phone...Back to the discussion, I was only browsing around changing some settings here and there, and the Lumia 630 felt UNCOMFORTABLY warm in my hands, this is the first time I experience this. (yes, the lumia 630 is low specs, but I hope this isn't the same for the other Lumia phones) edit: I feel like i'm blaming the wrong company, it should be Microsoft's fault - even for having no apps, somehow we always relate like "Nokia? Nokia no apps one" when in truth it is 'WINDOWS PHONE' that has no apps, blame Microsoft not Nokia! |

QUOTE(KayK @ Sep 12 2014, 10:05 AM) IMO, if you purchase nokia from their "so-called" official shops, then yes the RRP is expensive, but if you look around at phone shops, the price is actually quite decent... no need to explain...the way he wrote, confirmed is troll... and not everyone willing to get AP phones, no matter how much more cheaper they cost compare to phones with official warranty... Yes, in some way WP is frustrating but there are things that WP is doing it right... as for your scrolling and scrolling and scrolling, the only part i scroll a lot is Settings...other than that, i have no problem finding the app or tiles in the home screen... like hooi_jd stated, press the alphabet to jump to the app... as for the apps, there are plenty of good 3rd party apps in the windows store... i remember reading articles that MS even pay developers to get their apps into WP, but some how i feel this has backfired, with developers just publish their apps and dont really update them with newer features or worse, dont even want to fix buggy apps... try look around in the windows store for 3rd party that you need... you can create ringtone using "ringtone maker" by nokia / microsoft mobile... WP may not be what you expected as it is very much different from android, but try explore around and hopefully your experience with it will improve (even if you are not the one using it)... i believe when you first use android or any other phone, you will poke around, read article, search the internet for features that your phone has...so just give it a little time to explore it... |
