Hi, Just want to check with you guys and gals, how to you restore your whats-app chat from windows-phone with SD card to Lumia 930?
I just bought L930 and previously using L735. Backup was done on SD card.
Copy my backup to L930 but Whats-app doesn't seem to read the backup for me to restore.

It did mentioned that phone with SD to another phone with SD.
L930 do not use SD.
So I guess, cannot restore?

My L930 masuk workshop liaw after just one week of usage.
Kinda disappointed to find ot that Microsoft didn't even bother to resolve a old problem since launched in 2014. New phone still got this problem.
The microphone issue. If you use any recording apps, no sound is recorded. If you put your phone in speaker mode, the other side cannot hear you. Contata also cannot hear you. But, click on the Bing seach button, you can dictate and Windows can recognises. I am puzzled with this, not sure it is software or hardware problem. Sad.
Now waiting. Its been 6 days liaw.

Yes . Did everything by the books. Microsoft even sent me the same solutions that they sent out since the phone was launched.

They told me got to wait for 1 month!!!
Parts not in yet.

Update:

First, I need to say it was a dreadful wait as I was stuck with my office spare iPhone 4 which is so laggy.

Second, I must say its a wait worth while as I have collected my phone on Monday. They, Nokia Care, replaced the whole main board where the Mics are all connected to. They found that Mic 2 kaput and 3 &4 intermittently giving problems.
They gave me back with OS 8.1 before update 1 & the latest update that addresses reboot issue.
Did all the update and its been fourth day now, the phone is in great condition. I even notice that it is not as hot as before. Normal acceptable temperature.
Now, anticipating Win 10

Agreed. Microsoft quality control is bad.

L930 launched in Jun 2014 until now, they have not replace or resolve the 4 mics issues. They just wait for user to send in for warranty and make the user wait one and a half months for parts to arrive.
They know the problem but don't keep parts for it. Not only in Malaysia but all over.
This is how bad.
