if you look at the color variants, only the black color stands out from rest because of the aluminium frame is in black but it still looks the same with the rest of the phones out there.

I think I will miss Glance if I were to get this phone, always hover my hand over the screen just to glance the time and see if I have the extra minutes to sleep more.
and peeking the time and notifications in the cinema without annoying the people around you. above are all the scenarios where I would use the glance. on the bright side we get longer battery life. This post has been edited by s7ran9er: Apr 7 2014, 11:46 AM |

Also for showing off... put phone on table, hover hand over phone, the surprised look i get from other people is naise! One-of-a-kind unique feature for WP8 and now it's gone Hover and double tapping, revolutionary! |

makes me wonder, will anyone here still wants to buy this phone after Nokia has been renamed to MS Mobile Oy?
I would, just for the sake of keeping one for memories. |

QUOTE(futra @ Apr 23 2014, 11:31 AM) That's the SADDEST part about it. I would proudly still call it Nokia whatever name is changed. Just imagine ppl ask what phone ure using, instead of saying 'Nokia' u'll say 'Oy' or 'Mobile Oy'.. "ex-Nokia" phone? "use-to-be-nokia" phone? not going to call it Mobile Oy anyway. |

Wow that makes a whole lot of sense, thanks. probably just Lumia 930, just like last time we called blackberry phone but the old company name is RIM....so many don't know what is RIM, just know blackberry phone same like nexus phone, ppl don't called it Google Nexus phone, just nexus 4, 5 I guess the Lumia brand will stay. |

QUOTE(OrGui @ Apr 29 2014, 09:18 AM) Nokia has a history of 150 years and Microsoft has around 50. I dont think they will give up the name as its the pride of Finland. Microsoft still want the support from their people too I think. They can use the "Nokia" brand for QUOTE “Microsoft will not be using Microsoft Mobile as a brand name for Nokia; the Lumia and Asha brands and products as well as rest of the Mobile Phone portfolio sold under the Nokia brand will be transferred to Microsoft as part of the transaction. This Nokia branded product portfolio will continue to receive full support from Microsoft. Nokia does continue to own and operate under the Nokia brand, but Microsoft has licensed the Nokia brand for Mobile Phones for 10 years, as well as for the purpose of marketing Nokia branded smart devices for a limited time. Microsoft Mobile Oy is only the legal entity and Microsoft subsidiary to which the Nokia Devices and Services business was sold. The products and services acquired in the deal are now part of the Microsoft Devices Group, an expanded devices business that includes Lumia smartphones and tablets, Nokia mobile phones, Xbox hardware, Surface, Perceptive Pixel (PPI) products, and accessories. Any further decisions regarding specific branding will be made further down the road as part of the future integration.” Source from: Forbes |
