I'm not worried about incompatibility... but more on increasing production/testing tolerance to rush the product into the market or cost cutting on shielding materials, and part of the decision to do that can be "small number of people is using it so we won't expect it to mass number of problems..."
which for me, deserves a facepalm... hope that is not the case...
Totally agreed with you. Nokia always well-known for good built quality. Cannot imagine the flagship model if there is shielding issue (due to cut cost?) that cannot fixed by firmware update in future. Even cheaper china phone manufacturers seldom have such issue.
If all/many units has such issue -> design defect
If only few or my unit has such issue -> QC no good
Since in Malaysia, the 3G coverage still not so satisfactory especially in rural areas, we still depend on EDGE. Cannot imagine to surf or fbing on new Lumia 930 with old analogue TV quality (with interference lines) even with Full HD screen. Very annoyed and already send back the unit to the reseller after 2 days (less than 48 hours) since getting the device, however they said still depend on manufacturer (Nokia or Zitron) to check to see can refund or 1 to 1 replacement. Hopefully they don't return back my existing unit to me and claim there is no problem

Hope now Nokia doesn't change "Connecting People" to "Connecting Profit"
