My phone accidentally had a little burger sauce on the speakers, managed to clean that off, but now my speakers sound like they're popping at certain ranges of sound
Anyone knows if there's anyway to fix the speaker by DIY, or need to send to shop?
Or will it go off after a while?

Is ur device still under warranty? If yes, better take back to service centre to fix it

Not sure if this link Check Lumia Warranty is the right place to check. But from here it says mine is already out of warranty. Anyway I bought this phone used around Feb this year.

Sorry to hear that bro, if u buy on February this year the warranty should be still valid, but suggest u send to service centre see how first

Finally got my phone after 2 1/2 weeks in the service center. Got it back 2 weeks ago. My problem was the lifted screen, and due to this when making calls the screen goes blank even without you putting your phone to your ears. Proximity sensor not working due to the screen problem. Also touchscreen not responsive at the edge of screen too. All this fixed. Now, touchwood, working properly like new. Love it! And yes, but as always, the dreaded app gap. Microsoft Store is still shit compared to Play Store or App Store :-D

Anybody else facing Email+Accounts problem? When I go to settings->email+accounts, the screen says loading..., then goes back to setting page...can't seem to open the email+accounts page. What's wrong? Phone storage full?

UPDATE: Solved already. Restarted my phone, and deleted all my mail+accounts, and added them back together. Once I synced 1 account, Microsoft account can sync and work properly again. Phew!

Why Microsoft so rich but don't wanna invest more on app & that LCD screen.

Anybody has problem with the microphone?

My case: Cortana working, normal phone conversation working.

Skype, whatsapp, wechat, speaker mode, shazam, musixmatch all not working.

The app, my phone for benchmarking read my 930 having only one active mic.

According to sources on internet, 930 should have 4.

any cheap new 930 selling around? i found cheap 2nd units but because of the microphone issues, would rather buy new for the warranty.

Flashed a MY ROM and now running the Insider Preview for Windows 10

How's the Insider Preview for W10? Stable? I heard it's got alot of bugs and unstable...? How much it differs from W8.1? Care to share your experience so far?

Stability is great! in the past, yes it was bad..

How much does it differ? I would say a lot more easier to use and more pretty animations

It's been long stable on my old trusty L930 and my friend is reporting similar thing... different story on L830 though... Not sure if it has improved or not, i've passed the phone to my wife for her to use so I can't experience it myself

Hi guys, wanna ask. Anybody knows how to set up open dns setting on our phone? I need to surf the net more anonymously and privately, but I'm unable to set up the dns setting on my L930, and I don't know any good free VPN. Anybody care to share their knowledge on this? Thanks.
