I'm actually a part time student (full-time working as a lecturer for the pre-uni department in the uni...teaching hours is 20 hours per week). Anyone of you here is actually taking PhD/MPhil on a part time basis? How do you ensure that you will always be consistent in your study?
For a win-win situation, perhaps you can consider giving research-oriented assignments to your students. Each group of students will get a different topic but still within your research theme. This way you can also train your students to perform constructive literature reviews. icon_idea.gif

You can pass the data collection to your students as assignments to perform statistical calculations. icon_idea.gif

I teach 5 hours per week. Yea, I do actually do research on weekends, but it doesn't seem enough.  sweat.gif
I tried to do on weekdays, but a whole day teaching took so much energy to the point that when I went back home, all I wanna do is just rest, relax and sleep  doh.gif
Do you feel lonely?

Ah! Don't get me wrong. I'm just wondering most companies are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Perhaps you should visit Ti-Ratana to find out more about corporate social responsibility. icon_idea.gif

I dun think so man..continuing my data collection next week though. Hopefully by end of april i can do my analysis already.
Good planning! Since you have set 30/Apr as the deadline for data collection, I suppose by 21/Apr, the percentage of data collection will be around 75%. And by 28/Apr, it will be near 100% completion of data collection. You can probably analyzing the data before 30/Apr, after housekeeping your data. happy.gif
