same area? which one better? noon open? i'm going again this weekend

both only open at night (around 6 open de i think)
umbai is overrated place. where every tom d*** n harry go.
serkam is about 10-15mins away from umbai,
most local people come to umbai. makan itu ikan bakar dengan nasi lemak yo!
sizzling nais.

serkam dont have much variety.
while umbai got alot of seafood variety
u pick pick.

if go to umbai, u gota go to the first stall.
they put all the seafood on the perahu shape.
gooding, but the nasi lemak not nais. better take normal rice.

if go to serkam, u gota go across the bridge one. then go to the inside back shop.
nasi lemak gooding.

My review

1) Capital Satay Celup - Over rated. small piece but expensive. Taste wise, Fat One satay celup in KL taste better

2) 中华茶室海南鸡饭 - Hainnan Chicken Rice - Except the fact the rice is rounded, there's no difference than KL chicken rice. KL one taste better

3) Big Bowl Ice - Never tried

4) Nadeje Cake Shop - PJ also got. But its only special cos its crepe cake. Among so many crepe cake, i say Nadeje is the better ones

5) Longkang Siham - eat here for the ambiance only lo. Foreigners never squat near longkang and eat before ma.

6) Bunga Raya Popiah Never tried

7) 新味香沙爹屋 - Sun May Hiong Satay House Never tried

8) “鸡蛋” 冰

9) Geographer Café - Sigh..........for name's sake only

10) 榴莲泡芙 Never tried

11) Jonker 88 Never tried

u go search for SERKAM IKAN BAKAR (you'll be passing by a housing area) then u have to go cross a small bridge.
then sampai already. there's only 2 stall after the bridge (in a food court area type). go to the inside ones.
ask for sambal lebih and just take the ikan bakar only. no need masak sweetsour or whatever.
the fish all fresh ma as ure sitting along the canal.

they have; sotong, udang, ketam, ikan, kerang and siput buluh.
