Devastating lost...they just dribbled past our defence line like messi and cr7...
Was it me who think Giroud is damn bloody bad or the whole team is not functioning well? Giroud is like slightly better off Jeffers despite better finishing when he got the stupid touch....positioning, technique all off...Arsenal type of striker.... Guess Scholes was right about us...lack of leadership and discipline... |

Next time when the next manager splash money also cannot win trophy...I will see what you guys will say...Maybe you guys are right bout Wenger not being able to cope with the modern football tactics...be mindful what he had contributed to the club, solid cash flow and world class facility for the players and fans...You don't see any managers with this kind of capabilities around these days. Mourinho? Rodgers?

Season-by-season record
This season Arsenal are enjoying their second-highest win percentage of the Wenger era: 95-96 P38 W16 D13 L9, Win%: 42 96-97 P46 W21 D13 L12, Win% 46 97-98 P54 W29 D17 L8, Win% 54 98-99 P54 W31 D16 L7, Win% 57 99-00 P59 W33 D14 L12, Win% 56 00-01 P59 W32 D13 L14, Win% 54 01-02 P60 W39 D11 L10, Win% 65 02-03 P59 W34 D15 L10, Win% 58 03-04 P59 W37 D16 L6, Win% 63 04-05 P57 W35 D15 L7, Win% 61 05-06 P59 W32 D12 L15, Win% 54 06-07 P59 W28 D19 L12, Win% 47 07-08 P58 W35 D16 L7, Win% 60 08-09 P61 W33 D16 L12, Win% 54 09-10 P54 W33 D8 L14, Win % 61 10-11 P58 W30 D14 L14, Win % 52 11-12 P54 W31 D9 L14, Win % 57 12-13 P53 W28 D14 L11, Win % 53 13-14 P45 W29 D7 L9, Win % 64 The list is not up-to-date but somehow we're still complaining here and there, just because some of us had high expectation that we will win the EPL? Just because we signed one player who used to assist CR7? We screwed up big time in big matches? Pressure from fans and some of the unnecessary comments from the media is growing every year, that might lead to the collapse of the team's morale. Wenger been pushing the team and his own board of directors every year ever since Dein left. Even with Ivan being appointed to replace Dein, they've not solve the problem internally. They need someone who is as passionate and ambitious on the board, not just dumping every loads and shits to the manager. Wenger has its own flaws, we can't expect him to win every cup and getting the club's bank account filled. His biggest mistake was selling his famous captain Vieira and never got his leadership replaced. Quality of the captain and leadership been declined after that. Henry-Cesc-RvP-Vermy... The team need have more leaders. Players like Rooney, Terry, Gerrard and etc. It is very obvious they really played with their heart out. I can only see Jack being in this category at this moment in the team...that is clearly not enough...Talents does exist in the team but just need someone or maybe a couple to tie them up together... Despite throwing the blame on the manager, didn't the board and players should bear and share the blame too? |

QUOTE(Azurues @ Apr 9 2014, 01:26 PM) People only remember failures. I love your comment bro During the first half of the season when we are going some crazy upward curves, i don't see as many people come here and talk their shit, Wenger suck, Arteta suck, Giroud suck etc. Even worst was when everybody calling Wenger head when we lost to Aston Villa 3-1 at home the first game of the season. I dare to say there was a point where lots of "fans" praying that Arsenal fail to beat Fernabahce thus failing to qualify champs league so that Wenger gets the boot. After that incident, all the critics pretty much stfu. When Arsenal was at their prime form especially the game where we beat Liverpool 2-0 at home was a point where we look set to shake the Premier League. Arguably too, that was the point where Liverpool took many injuries thus explaining their easy lost. So it's fair to say, injuries has pretty much ravaged Arsenal chance of BPL trophy. Even Giroud was performing quite well the first half of the season before 1 by 1 of his teammates goes to the treatment room. Blaming everything on Wenger for not buying another striker is ridiculous. Chelsea has so many strikers but how many of their strikers score every game? I predict even if Arsenal did won the FA Cup and secure top 4, many "fans" will call this a season of failure, specialist of failure bla bla bla bla, sack Wenger etc. So many advice, go jump ship to Liverpool now. They are going to win 4 trophies next season. Truly reflected the actual situation This post has been edited by ivanau88: Apr 9 2014, 01:31 PM |

QUOTE(briantwj @ Apr 9 2014, 01:46 PM) So u are admitting history is more important than creating history? lel So what I understand from your post that you're saying Everton is stronger than Arsenal? Just because of one season wonder? If you flip back to the history page, Everton did managed to qualify to Europa at one season when Moyes was in charge sitting on 5th or 6th in the table. Gravesen was still around that time I recalled, then the next season they almost relegated. Despite of not winning cups for god knows how many years, Arsenal is still within Top 4 qualifying Champions League every season. This is consistency. We can't judge on a team based on one season wonder performance. I'm not saying Arsenal is not good, but it seems they did not really improve much to catch up with the modern days of football. Given this statistics 10 years ago, I think Arsene is almost celebrating winning EPL.Well, just kip reminding urself that Arsenal has history, while Chelsea create history. Ciao~ Good luck in finishing fourth. Everton have the tougher fixtures if compared to Arsenal. I hate to admit but Rodger did quite a good job in Liverpool. He told the media he could take years to get his team for real challenge. He kept his head low and somehow he succeed in doing that |

Every football players want to win something in their career some goes to us whether boss in the business or kuli under your boss. I'm sure you have a milestone to achieve. If the company cannot give you what you want, employee will leave for better prospect.Would be a great addition to have Iker in the team. Show some challenge to our fuzzy keeper, not that I've anything to complain |

QUOTE(Vinci777 @ Apr 14 2014, 11:01 AM) We can c poldi is frustrated. Sanago is not having a good game but yet still played 120 mins. When Giroud comes in, instantly we can see some push but Sanago is still isolated. There is once chance where he picked a pass but its offside. A normal striker instinct would let that ball run thru the defenders and then atk the goal (What Walcott will do), not picking up like a pass =.= Luckily its an offside else I would be even more furious Agree, when Giroud came in. Yaya was like few levels behind him very obvious...Podolski was very ineffective...I think if he happen to stand in frontline rather than Yaya..still the sameLuckily he did not take the penalty because which his confidence that time, I had a feeling he's gonna flunk it. Such a bad bad day he had. |

QUOTE(changchai @ Apr 15 2014, 09:26 AM) Well, if Wenger to sign this contract. He will need to add a few more clause into his contract for the boardmember to commit into. Simple player can be overpriced these days. How much money is the club sanctioned to the manager is very important thus critical to the club future.Wenger can choose to leave the club, but if he were to stay. He will have to ensure those old farts on the board are on the same boat as him |

QUOTE(sigheart @ Apr 16 2014, 07:16 PM) No Rooney and Van Pu$$y for this game and the rest of the season possibly. Well, they have welbeck and hernandez then. Plus kagawa and mata is in fine form. They might not performed up to their par but they are few levels above Everton. Don't forget they are not far away from the 4th if not the 5thOh well hopefully Kagawa will be able to do something then |

QUOTE(Mikken @ Apr 16 2014, 09:25 PM) Everyone knows that. Given experience of the players in man utd is something that is still holding them together. You're talking about form, I'm talking about quality. Don't forget they are merely few points behind. Even better also no much better |
