It's good that Arsenal has managed to paid the stadium earlier or on time. But what I disagree is why to that extreme? To the point where all the revenue generated used to pay the stadium, and only small chunk to buy players. Look at what happened eventually to players bought? Chamakh, Squillaci, PCY, Giroud = useless. To add to that, all our stars left, Vpersie, Nasri, Fabregas to name a few. If we can balance the power every year, we could have become the new Barcelona by now. The new invincible if you may.

Here is what I think about Arsenal financial model. They could have allocate one big money to buy ONE top quality player every year, just ONE in the right department. Imagine, if 42 million is used to buy a quality forward, and not Ozil, we could have converted 50 more goals at this time of the year, and we might be challenging for title every year.

Balance is the key. Not Extreme.

This season, my only attention only left for this competition, not EPL, not UCL spot, but...If that r all regular players available for d match against Wigan then i'd prepare myself for the worst result.

Szczesny isnt in excellent form but still doing good. His confident might be not as good as before after being bantered so many times by EPL's big boys. If back 4 protect him well then i think he'll good job in this match.

Sagna+Per on right side, pace is the weakness. But defensive ability is good but hope Cazorla (if play RW) need to cover those side every single moments. While Verm+Monreal both not in good form. Monreal definitely have to up his game and Podolski as LW need to involve more to cover him.

Arteta+Kim. I wont comment bout Kim, hoope he integrated well with the team. But for Arteta, i only see the good thing with him r he is useful when we r already in comfortable lead. The worst thing is he always killing our opportunity to create counter attack but maybe we might not play that kind of play when we have Cazorla+Podolski+Giroud upfront w/o Theo or Ox.

Cazorla+Podolski..None offer pace. Tiki taka dribbling is Cazorla style, so hope he doesnt make sloppy pass that lead to risk being counter n expose our defense. I dont know who gonna replace Podolski at 2nd half as we knew he cant survive 90minutes w/o being invisible.

Ramsey is the only i see could force the teamplay up but being absent for injury b4 might find him hard to give his best show yet.

And Giroud..

The bench..where r Gnabry, Zelalem, Miyachi, Bentdner? Those 3 kids injured? At this rate Wenger should consider Bentdner as well as Giroud isnt in good form while Sonogo deifintely too green for this level of intensity.


edited: where is Jenkinson too? i think perhaps he could offer abit pace on the team which lacking now. maybe not as RB, but more to RM since he attacking quality better than his defensive.
