OX and Ramsey in second half. If it's any game to take a gamble it's this one.

We desperately need our players back. Our subs can't cut it.

When is Ozil, Wilshere, Kos and Gibbs due back?

Sigh. So bad the performance. Defensively we are so poor this year. If only they could maintain their first half of the season performance. sad.gif
*
TBH we exhausted our easy game cards earlier in the season. Wasn't really anything to shout about as well our early season form. They were mostly teams below the top 10 and even though they were in the top 10 we faced most of them at home.

Don't forget Spuds target is to finish behind Arsenal every year. You are well on course for your target this year also. So don't need frus with Sherwood also. Overtake Arsenal is for you guys to syok sendiri only.

THIS! We lacked depth! Shit. Wenger needs to rotate the players. Just look at Sagna. Cazorla and Giroud too. They all play almost every match for TWO years.!!
*
On the contrary we have depth. Just not good enough. Especially in the defensive department.

How to back that up? you dont have to back that up if you dont bring it up in the first place. Shame on you. Claim to be optimistic but twisted. Identity crisis ke? Be realistic, like me, like London fan, dont be a dreamer, and then twisted.

Debt? Arsenal make huge profit every year. Buying suarez for 50million, n arsenal are in debt? but when bought ozil for 42 million, its okay?  doh.gif  doh.gif  doh.gif

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Apr 6 2014, 11:05 PM)
It's already brought up before it was even mentioned.
You said before more than Suarez, now only mention one.
In debt because you were pointing out from 8 years time.
If for the 8 years buy our way out for trophy then for sure debt.
So?
*
TBH if we spent the way City and Chelsea did we would've bankrupted.

A big chunk if not all of the money we earn every year goes into repaying the loan for the new stadium. We were 600 million+ in debt not including the interest when we moved to the Emirates and for all that to be repaid in a space of 8 years is pretty remarkable IMO. That is on average 75 million a year just for the new stadium loan.

I don't claim to know everything but seems like the stadium was just paid off and we had some left over cash hence spent on Ozil.

We need the CL this year for the money to be fully invested into players.

If Wenger stays judge him at the end of next year. But we need the CL football. Lets see what he can do when we have CL and a 100% war chest dedicated to transfers and every thing is at his disposal. If he still f*cks up the transfer window then fair enough probably he has lost it.

but bro...i think he already f**ked up the transfer window by not buying a proven backup striker to giroud.....huhuhuhu
*
Realistically how many "proven" strikers were on the January transfer market?

Btw I don't believe our problems is just down to not signing a proven striker other than Giroud.

Etoo, Torres, Ba are no better so far IMO and not to mention they play a somehwat similar formation but look at where Chelsea stand.

QUOTE(VisionX @ Apr 6 2014, 11:32 PM)
It's good that Arsenal has managed to paid the stadium earlier or on time. But what I disagree is why to that extreme? To the point where all the revenue generated used to pay the stadium, and only small chunk to buy players. Look at what happened eventually to players bought? Chamakh, Squillaci, PCY, Giroud = useless. To add to that, all our stars left, Vpersie, Nasri, Fabregas to name a few. If we can balance the power every year, we could have become the new Barcelona by now. The new invincible if you may.

Here is what I think about Arsenal financial model. They could have allocate one big money to buy ONE top quality player every year, just ONE in the right department. Imagine, if 42 million is used to buy a quality forward, and not Ozil, we could have converted 50 more goals at this time of the year, and we might be challenging for title every year.

Balance is the key. Not Extreme.
*
Lol unfortunately things aren't as simple and straightforward as you think.

Pretty old but at the very least it covers our financial situation for 5 years.

Of course things always appear easier said than done.

LOL got another one also,

Spuds are too shit, make Arsenal complacent. How to progress la no good rival to push us forward.

If only Spuds can finish second every year. Then we will finish as champions every year.

Well done Chelsea FC. Something Arsenal is lacking. Arsenal need a manager like JM who can bring the team forward. Not giving all kind of false hope!

Flamini suspended, Aaron can slot in there but being out for so long I doubt Arsene would be too keen to play him for the full 90. The problem is though who to replace him!? Assuming all those dudes are out as well, our lineup will look like the following?

---------------------------Szczesny---------------------------

Sagna---------Per--------------------Verm----------Monreal

-------------------Arteta---------------Kim-------------------

Cazorla-----------------------------------------------Podolski

----------------------------Ramsey--------------------------

-----------------------------Giroud----------------------------

Bench:
Six 18 year old kids.

QUOTE(HiperPanda @ Apr 11 2014, 10:26 AM)
This season, my only attention only left for this competition, not EPL, not UCL spot, but...If that r all regular players available for d match against Wigan then i'd prepare myself for the worst result.

Szczesny isnt in excellent form but still doing good. His confident might be not as good as before after being bantered so many times by EPL's big boys. If back 4 protect him well then i think he'll good job in this match.

Sagna+Per on right side, pace is the weakness. But defensive ability is good but hope Cazorla (if play RW) need to cover those side every single moments. While Verm+Monreal both not in good form. Monreal definitely have to up his game and Podolski as LW need to involve more to cover him.

Arteta+Kim. I wont comment bout Kim, hoope he integrated well with the team. But for Arteta, i only see the good thing with him r he is useful when we r already in comfortable lead. The worst thing is he always killing our opportunity to create counter attack but maybe we might not play that kind of play when we have Cazorla+Podolski+Giroud upfront w/o Theo or Ox.

Cazorla+Podolski..None offer pace. Tiki taka dribbling is Cazorla style, so hope he doesnt make sloppy pass that lead to risk being counter n expose our defense. I dont know who gonna replace Podolski at 2nd half as we knew he cant survive 90minutes w/o being invisible. whistling.gif

Ramsey is the only i see could force the teamplay up but being absent for injury b4 might find him hard to give his best show yet.

And Giroud..doh.gif

The bench..where r Gnabry, Zelalem, Miyachi, Bentdner? Those 3 kids injured? At this rate Wenger should consider Bentdner as well as Giroud isnt in good form while Sonogo deifintely too green for this level of intensity.
icon_rolleyes.gif

edited: where is Jenkinson too? i think perhaps he could offer abit pace on the team which lacking now. maybe not as RB, but more to RM since he attacking quality better than his defensive.
*
Zelalem and Jenkinson should be on the bench.

Gnabry and Miyaichi are both injured!

Arsenal now have a grand total of 11 registered first team players injured. lulz doh.gif

Bendtner, no idea

Can't say I'm surprised though, Sunderland are shit and deserve to be relegated.

They still need to face Southampton, Man U and city, those 3 will be the games they will most likely drop points
