I think you overcomplicated stuff. You can survive comfortably in T2 if you are in 4 person party with only 3-4 mil toughness. Just play smart and know when to back off.

Your strategy only required in T4 above games. If you feel like under equip, join an active clan and leech from rift run from your clan members.
