hey guys just want to know the specs needed to build a rig for gaming, video editing, software programing. an intel build would be sweet. also the graphics to work on dual - tri monitor for gaming and multi work purpose. ive allocated about 7k for this budget. and i want to build this pc at least in one place so i dont have to go running around all shops looking for part, maybe lowyat ?

I'll assume that you'll not be OCing the rig... and you might not need to use up all of your budget

Intel Xeon 1230 V3 RM799
ASROCK H87 Performance RM399
Corsair Value RAM 8GB 1600Mhz x2 RM478
Samsung 840 Evo 128GB SSD RM329
WD Blue 1TB HDD RM189
MSI GTX780Ti Twin Frzr RM2699
Seasonic X750W PSU RM629
BitFenix Ronin RM320

Total RM5842

when you say OC you mean like turning on like a turbo mode or a savings mode on the pc for performance ?
and does this rig require a special casing or a basic one.
what about monitors ? can the twin frzr go into dual - tri monitors ? for gaming

OC = Overclocking, means tweaking the parameters of a component to work faster than stock

Chassis/Casing can be as simple as a cardboard box wink.gif any chassis will do actually providing that the components fit inside nicely.. the one I suggested (BitFenix Ronin) will be more than sufficient

and yes the 780Ti can do 3+1 monitors on it's own smile.gif
