why need to pay rm250?

I juz sent in my xbox360 (unmodded SG still under warranty) to Andy last Saturday. He didn't say anything about $$ though ... and neither did I ask 
I expect it to be free since it is still under 1 year warranty!!

Andy told you they gonna charge RM 250 as repair charges?

Hmmm..dont we all using the SGP gamertag..by the way...this case had hapened to one of my fren..he was trying his luck for 1 to 1 exchange when he called the challenger superstore for the 3rod incident..and guess what happeend...he booked the flight to JB on the following day...take a bus to the place..and get an instant exchange of 360....and its not that hard, as long as you are purchasing the item from the specified superstore, and I dont think the Malaysian sellers are getting it from the place  too as it will definitely reducing their margin of profit when they sell it here..

1 to 1 exchange is guaranteed without any extra charges....thats what my fren keep telling me....

And..one more thing.getting from the superstore itself..can assure u that u r getting the new item which has net been tampered before...most of the 3rod incidents..i believe r related to the sellers or middle men fault which will mod and unmod the same 360 according to the demand...

Hi all, the towel trick works!!!!! 
Just a summary on my towel trick approach:
1. 1 clean thick bath towel (dry one!)
2. Wrap the towel covers the heat exhaust hole at the back
3. Wrap the surrounding including the air inlet holes
4. Turn it on (yes, it will still showing 3RoD)
5. Let it run for few minutes.
For my case, I heard the fan spinning sound is faster/noisier than during 3RoD.
6. Turn it off and cool down.
7. Turn it on and I saw the xbox animation   

Those who has my gamertag can see I just online on Live and played GoW and R6:LV.

hm.

today tested on all the 3 rings of death console.

the japanese (no matter how I put gears of war disc.. it won;t boot)

other games I tried no problem. but after 2 - 3 hours of gaming.. (lost planet, open season) it went dead again.. but again.. I'm not too worried.. I can revive it back again

2nd console.. going good so far..

3rd console which I "cooked" until it so steamy hot. (I mea realy hot..  you can really felt the "heatwave")

tested today whole day. running lost planet~ no problem
