quite saddening..
when most of us here pay our hard earn money to support 360.. and then all these things happen..
its not like any of you were using pirated stuff or anything that will spoilt it.. even some of u bought nyko and take really good care of it like your baby.. but yet it still spoilt..
microsoft is spoilling their own reputation and also trust..

how long it takes to download a demo or a trailer from the marketplace?
probably overnight!

and how long u use to play? sometimes u play 24 hours non-stop..
it is a console afterall.. i dont remember ps1 spoilt this fast..
in fact mine still working up to now..

my xbox360 can't ON..

after several OFF and ON.. it came back.. and i can play game like usual..
when i OFF it.. then ON again.. it went dead..
i kept trying and it work again..

IT IS OFF and ON..
i bought my unit from TNL and it still less than a year..
anybody has experience dealing 3ROD with TNL?

ermm update to my situation..
i found out that 3ROD will only come if i use the USB port... (right one)
when i listen to mp3 player, or use USB charger.. xbox crash then 3ROD come..
however, it also happen at a random occurrence.. weird..

and each time 3ROD came.. if i let it to rest for a while.. it will revive by itself after several ON and OFFing..
and everything back to usual...

anyhow i plan to test for another few days before drawing conclusion that one of my USB port is acting weird on me..


would like some input from u guys..

hello.. want to ask anyone who has went all the way to SG and claim 1 to 1 exchange..

did u travel by public transport? or own transport?
how did u bypass the custom.. what if they want to tax u?

i read that post.. but no info regarding taxes..

im still working on getting my replacement..
frustrated...

my biggest dissapointment is towards the shop where i bought my xbox from..
they told me 1 year warranty, they didnt say i have to pay for transport when i buy..
and now they want to charge transportation fee RM200.. and will take 2 months at least.. WTF? what is warranty if we need to pay?

what is the different if i used modded machine and claim my warranty?? and now i using original without modding it and yet i have to pay RM200?
left me with no choice but dealin with SG MS myself..

and to do that also i have certain problem becoz they most likely wont accept our purchase date as we buy from malaysia.. my manufacturer date already over..

But shop have to make it clear when ppl buy...
they either conveniently forget to tell, or they tell you that you have to bear the transport fee but didn't mention that it was RM200..

i get it transportation fee is expensive.. but i am sure the dealer travel up and down for bringing the stocks also in and out of singapore..
ok.. even if want to charge.. charge more logic la.. poslaju also charge RM5/kg only if xbox is 7 kg its juz RM35 for one way.. 2 way cannot exceed RM 100 also..

p/s: i didnt buy from GH, i am talking about the shop i buy from

Would like to update u guys on my situation..
now that i found someone to call for me in SG..
so the usual routine questions.. and the they ask me also to provide them with receipt (proof of purchase).. and due to the fact that we all bought our consoles here in malaysia.. i think our receipt is not legitimate enough..

since most ppl here got their 3ROD earlier.. which is <1 year since 360 singapore launch (16th march).. they have a replacement w/o problem..

the thing is now that its Over.. they probably will start hunting for receipts or other sorts of proof of purchase..

so a warning to u guys.. Warranty might not be warranty afterall even if u travel up to SG yourself.. the warranty thing does not apply to purchase outside SG..

but after i'll update my situation after i get all these done.. whether or not i have to pay...

thats the thing.. i will update after i get it fixed ..
if they got ask for my receipt during my visit to their service center..
coz in the call, they did ask if i have my receipt with me..

i think probably siebel u called earlier.. thats y they never asked..
now the Launch date is > a year already... probably change..

but like i said this is 'unconfirmed' 'speculations' 'possibilities'
If ever i have to pay... then its would SUCK supporting legitimate products w/o service..

okay latest update..
anyway decided to contact MS SG again to confirm on many things..
about the manufacturer date... and receipt issues etc..

NO RECEIPT REQUIRED..
what they want to know from your receipt is purchase date.. juz tell them thro' phone then everything is fine already... no proof required..

so right now have to wait until april to get 1 to 1 exchange...
so far so good.. and i will update the situation as i go for an exchange...
they so far gave me a date to go collect, a service number..
after this exchange there will be another 90 day extended warranty ..W00T!!!

what happen to your xbox?

judge i think u can save money wait for black version.. if it is more stable..

ya its like a time bomb..
ALL OF US took good care of the console...
And the worst part is we spend great deal of money supporting originals.. some ppl bought as early as japanese and US launch...
