Not sure if this is the right place to do this but how do you guys take macro of insects. Do they usually keep still long enough for you to set up?
Nice pic. Want to take pictures of aircraft but usually stuck behind a glass. Was this behind a glass too or did you manage to find some place to take a photo with nothing blocking?

Hi, my D3200 kitlens AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm lens focus ring seems like jam adi. If i slightly touch by hand during focusing, the motor will emit some high pitch noise and then jam there...anyone experience such problem? During new the focus motor is very strong, nothing can stop it...anyway still under warranty...

Updated: This scenario only happen if i long time never use the cam (2-3 weeks, this time is 2nd time happened). After i try focus continuously (purposely focus to exercise the motor) , seems like the symptom is gone now. The motor is strong again and can't reproduce again.

I'm using this Nissin speedlight too...just the weight is kinda... especially after you fit in 4 pcs AA battery. Maybe you can reduce the weight by using lighter battery.

Of course lo...

Normal zink battery = lightest
Alkaline (Energizer..) = heavy
Rechargeable NHMI = in between above.

I believe even same type of battery, different manufacturer, different material will contribute to the weight too...just that i'm not talking 1pc but 4pcs.

Hey guys. Good day. I need help. Have you guys here ever been to nikon service center to do a sensor cleaning? Got dust particle at my D7k's sensor. How long does it take when they cleaning my sensor? How much do there charge? I stayed in East Malaysia and I only got 1 day at KL this coming 16 June. Any recommend shop or service center which is easier to reach using public transport? Thank you for any feedback.

I really dont understand anything about my camera exposure even after reading so many articles! LOL!
I just cant understand

1)if i'm outdoors is there a default exposure i should set then adjust it from there onwards?

2)if suddenly the weather changes then it becomes alittle more cloudy what should i do?

3) how do you guys know what exposure is correct for the shot right away? or do you need to take a shot to know?

slowly la.. haha I get my D3200 like 8 months later only get my first prime.. but now decided to invest a better standard zoom and a GOPRO/Sony digital compact for video..  depends on the style and usage, then only invest..

This is my photo shoot with my D610.
The problem is a difficulty to focus both of faces here.

When I chose AF-C Dynamic area 39 points or AF-S, it just focus on specific focus point only. (for example if focus point at centre)
When I chose auto area focus, it will chose to focus on one of the faces only.

So how I gonna focus both of it? re-compose technique? but how?
