never heard before.. u can just get the Hoya filter from gstrapinuse . Im using it, i feel it's good enough doesnt affect Image quality (IQ) much..

Handpod? using hand? haha manfrotto too expensive.. 
I know Benro, Sirui is good buck for bang.. but I'm not a frequent tripod user, not sure want to invest more than Rm300 for a tripod.. normal shot using handheld.. planning get one for plan event shot and travel purpose..

how yours weight compare to this? Silk F740 weight 1.5kg, not sure is heavy or not.. 

Since i got my Sigma 17-50mm, I scare travel style tripod doesn't cope with the weight.. that lens is quite heavy...

That Robber Fly shot was actually rather badly done since 2 of my extension tubes went back to factory already huhu 
Hope can take better shot next time

Robber flies can be found in quiet and shaded areas in parks. They often stop at the tip of dead twigs or branches on the ground 
They are very good subjects to photograph since they will keep on flying back to the same spot; and most of the time will be eating something; and not to mention those colourful eyes

I have always considered Birding as a genre of photography that's even harder than Macro Photography, this is because as a photographer shooting from long range (most of the time), you lack a lot of control in many aspects, so it won't be easy getting really great shots, especially of shy and uncommon birds   
Perhaps that's the reason why most Macro Photographers take up birding as a "next-level" thing haha

Matter of fact, I just a bit frustrated on AF area at D610. To cramp at centre.

is it just me? i felt D750 Grip too small for my hand
