Nikon 24-70mm is expensive.
So, 3rd party come into the picture.

Tamron 24-70mm vs Sigma 24-70mm, which to choose ?

Hi guys,

Want to ask is this any good?
http://www.amazon.co.jp/SLIK-%E4%B8%89%E8%...keywords=tripod

Consider quite cheap for Rm110(after convert). Sorry for Japanese, since I'm getting this from Japan.

Here's the English description : http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller...EG&Q=&A=details

Need feedback smile.gif

For me, I will go with those with foldable legs and not like as the photo shown.
A more flexible for a lot of situation.
Myself using a Benro tripod and is carbon fibre for lighter weight which suit traveling too.

Handpod? using hand? haha manfrotto too expensive..  cry.gif
I know Benro, Sirui is good buck for bang.. but I'm not a frequent tripod user, not sure want to invest more than Rm300 for a tripod.. normal shot using handheld.. planning get one for plan event shot and travel purpose..

how yours weight compare to this? Silk F740 weight 1.5kg, not sure is heavy or not..  hmm.gif

Since i got my Sigma 17-50mm, I scare travel style tripod doesn't cope with the weight.. that lens is quite heavy...
*
I m not a full time tripod user too but I travel with it just in case needed, especially for landscape. Getting a better tripod is a good investment too. It is for long run.
I don't have a nikon camera yet although I used to owned the D7k before. But, going forward will get myself the D610 and a tamron 24-70mm. Just mentioning it already make me feel excited. Haha!

Thank you man, appreciate it!
That Robber Fly shot was actually rather badly done since 2 of my extension tubes went back to factory already huhu  cry.gif
Hope can take better shot next time laugh.gif

Robber flies can be found in quiet and shaded areas in parks. They often stop at the tip of dead twigs or branches on the ground  rclxms.gif
They are very good subjects to photograph since they will keep on flying back to the same spot; and most of the time will be eating something; and not to mention those colourful eyes laugh.gif
*
Thanks for the guide... Would love to shoot macro of the robber fly someday...
I m a macro fan too, u may check out some of my work from my 500px link at my siggy...
Although, they are not shot with a Nikon, but looking forward to the D610 soon...
Good night...

Bird bird laugh.gif

I have always considered Birding as a genre of photography that's even harder than Macro Photography, this is because as a photographer shooting from long range (most of the time), you lack a lot of control in many aspects, so it won't be easy getting really great shots, especially of shy and uncommon birds  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif
Perhaps that's the reason why most Macro Photographers take up birding as a "next-level" thing haha

I had tried before. No good successful captured.
Missed few kingfishers. Need to be real stealthy.

Either worth it or not for me to sell my D610 and top up around 1.5k to get new D750.

Matter of fact, I just a bit frustrated on AF area at D610. To cramp at centre. shakehead.gif

I know u want the d750 badly... Buy! Buy! Buy! 😄
