The nikon 1755 just like a german 2.0 turbo engine in german chassis while the canon just like german 2.0 turbo engine in proton chassis



There is stil alot of space to improve the build quality of canon 1755, but when everything is prefect,  then u have to pay premier price

At times you have to get close to the VIP for the best photos but have to beware of the bodyguards lol. Last time i was too close to PM and one of the bodyguards pull me aside while saying "dont stop move move move"

D610 price now is RM 4,800.00. Both body only.
Lets compare D610 vs D750 later on..

after 1st model of D600 f** up with oil spot, and also D800 + D800E = D810, also have problem of thermal issue (white dots) during long exposures.

The challenge with the 50mm plus ET (assuming 3 levels) is that the focusing distance becomes extremely short; I had a lot of problems using it at first as well haha
Two ways of solving the problem:
i) Use less ET levels- the lower the magnification, the closer you do not need to get, and the less shallow the DOF also
ii) Don't manual focus; instead, lean your body slightly back and front, then guesstimate when to press the shutter (best when use with flash). After you master this technique, it becomes ridiculously easy hehe 

I'm pretty sure you noticed how hard it is to get clear and sharp shots, especially so when you increase magnification . This is because at higher magnifications, the Depth of Field (DOF) becomes very shallow, so hand shakes become very obvious. When you use natural light (no flash), you can only get decent shots when it is very sunny or if you up ISO significantly.

By using flash, you can freeze the moment (while keeping ISO at ~100-320), thus minimizing effects from handshakes; can be used for moving subjects too. If you can provide proper diffusion, the reflection off surface of insects or spiders can be really attractive too~ Can read here for more details: http://pixelsdimension.com/using-flash-in-macro-photography/

As for magnification and cropping, it depends on many factors i.e. lens used, macro accessories used, size of subject. But usually for very small subjects (<1cm), when shot with a 105mm macro lens with 2 ET (36mm + 20mm), I will still crop
