QUOTE(goldfries @ Oct 16 2014, 02:24 PM) has optical, don't think it works with other brand signals. Which Canon flash unit you using btw?will check out the other brands. Phottix now has Mitros+ to consider. As far as I remembered, Canon does not really has any su4/eye-mode/optical slave built-in, what they have in the newer model is the Wireless TTL mode, which does not work by seeing simple flash. The cheapest option to retain the Canon unit would be getting some of the cheap wireless trigger such as yongnuo lo. Some references maybe, http://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/2779523 |

QUOTE(goldfries @ Oct 19 2014, 01:22 AM) 430EX II's optical trigger is by responding to the flash on Canon camera body, light pulse. As far as I understand based on http://photo.stackexchange.com/questions/4...-slave-functionProbably sell off all my flash and get some Phottix. The 'optical trigger' in canon is rigged to only work with compatible canon 'signal', which usually consist of multiple quick-flashes. Similar to how the Nikon CLS works. They seems to be using the same method, just pulsing differently like using difference languages. Thus, I believe you can't trigger your flash using any of the Nikon as of this time. Maybe you wanna try RF-603, http://dslrplaza.com/v2/yongnuo-rf-603n-fl...100-d7000-d3200 Since you do not need TTL. These are cheap triggers. |

Anyway, I happen to have a friend who has an extra 24-120/VR to let go.
He bought two set of D750 kit, and will let go one of the lens. I think if anyone is interested, can PM me la. I'll help to pass the info. Anyway, you have two more weeks in general, to get a D750 before GST |
