im using lightroom to edit
for that effect, normally i will increase the temp a little then lower down the vibrance and saturation
and in the luminance, normally i will just adjusting the orange bar, cuz of human skin tone
spilt toning, the highlight just drag to some vintage color, saturation abt 20-30
shadow just drag to some color like grey or dull color, then the balance 50:50
if u want vignetting then just add on

I've been inactive for some time too.
Like the second pic, and the bokeh is nice. What lens?

Cute and loving the effect. Lightroom? I always a noob for effect.

Great shot man, didn't try cropping more? Or already heavily cropped?  hmm.gif

Those shots were taken with a 50mm F1.8g on a D90 laugh.gif So I was rather surprised I even got that shot as it happened in a blink of an eye  laugh.gif
You are most welcomed sifu  notworthy.gif
Just curious sifu, when you adjust your final images with those tones, do you still keep the RAW, or at least natural colours of the photos?
Sometimes I really get into the dilemma whether to keep the natural colour ones laugh.gif who knows might need it one day huhuh  cry.gif
*
yes, i do keep it, some but not all, in case client wan another type of tone

Oops. What I was trying to say before is that my kit lens cant be lower as 35mm lens. Correct me if I am wrong. Anyway, I will try to use my kit lens for the moment. Still long way to go.  nod.gif
*
get either 35 or 50
then u can learn to frame a pic, composition at a fixed focal length
bokeh wise, doesnt matter la, as long as u got ur subject in good composition in your frame
anyway, go try out the lens first then shoot more and more and more.
keep shooting and happy shooting rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

During daytime always busy. When at night, hard to shoot. Light factor. Still learning the right way to hold a Dslr. Lol.
Yes. Thanks.  I find the 35mm more gooding compared to 50mm.
Thanks for the tips.  notworthy.gif  I'll stick with the current lens.
