QUOTE(jaQ-Ass @ Apr 29 2014, 10:00 AM) Hello guys. It is already confirmed that my sensor got dust particle. How do I know? Its from Google. So my question, anybody have tried to self clean your sensor before? Is it advisable to self cleaning? I live in East Malaysia. I've search authorized service center for Nikon. All located at West Malaysia. Got any advise? Thanks. Have you made sure that its not the mirror that's dirty?Might be a bit risky to clean it yourself since you will risk damaging the sensor maybe can ask around shops around your area? Its better to let the pros do it for you, usually they charge around RM50-100 for the cleaning over here QUOTE(wkwong91 @ Apr 29 2014, 10:06 AM) Just a place with small small restaurants. Got pathway for you to take photo and some Shanghai designed restaurant. Quite nice place. But better go on weekday because on weekend there is crowded with people. Sorry for the ugly photo. Fuyoh, your lengloi waifu haha » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « THanks for sharing, looks really nice~ Usually its quite hard to take good indoor shots but it seems pretty well decorated the place |

QUOTE(wkwong91 @ Apr 29 2014, 10:16 AM) So humble haha I don't know how to take landscape shots one haha, please teach me next time QUOTE(jaQ-Ass @ Apr 29 2014, 10:21 AM) Eh? Dry and soft cotton buds will do, but please be extra careful and make sure there are no dirt/sand particles on the soft cotton buds. Its rather unlikely that the sensor is dirty for a new unit? Unless if you switch lenses alot For your current or recent photos, you can always spot heal those dust particles |

QUOTE(wkwong91 @ May 5 2014, 01:37 PM) You are sifu in other niche ma QUOTE(f5calvin @ May 5 2014, 02:02 PM) Thank you bro QUOTE(cheekiat95 @ May 5 2014, 03:26 PM) Hello guys I'm new to photography. I'm thinking to get a Nikon D5200 with kit lens. Here's the thing, my budget is only RM2k cause I'm paying this with my PTPTN, and this camera is selling at RM2.2k+ everywhere. I was thinking to go for import set, aka grey market dslr. Can anyone suggest me where can I get this import set in Lowyat or elsewhere? Or where can I get the original one with lower price tag, like RM2.1k? Thanks alot Can consider finding Yannick: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Yannick-Came...7834827?fref=tsHe can get your camera fixed (if needed), even if its AP Not sure about the price though, should be without your budget I suppose Otherwise can consider going for the D3200 or D5100 |

QUOTE(QiAnG @ May 6 2014, 02:52 AM) Awesome macro as always bro THanks alot man BTW, I'm planning to grab a phottix octabox or something to try some portraits. Is there anything I need to get except the softbox? Flash stand/ bracket, and flash trigger/receiver? Seems expensive Wah, going pro with portrait liao bro? You already have a flashgun right? Imho, the cheapest way is to just buy an umbrella for flash diffusion. Then ask friends to hold it for you |

QUOTE(QiAnG @ May 6 2014, 12:58 PM) Going pro still long way, thinking of playing around only, been using only natural light Practice makes perfect man hehe, keep it up Quite hard to find people to hold eh I think, unless when I'm shooting their gf =.='' Wondering if the the pop up flash on d7000 can trigger the flash in softbox or not.. should be possible if the distance not too far away huh. Yea might be going umbrella instead of softbox Yes, you can use the D7000 to control and trigger higher-end Nikon flashguns. The distance is pretty impressive, so long as you are not using a long telephoto lens haha I used to shoot using my D90/D800 and SB700 with umbrella, the diffused light is really great... but in the end I think shooting with natural light is still more practical since I'm not shooing for jobs anyway haha~ Still, its fun to learn, and not too expensive~ |

QUOTE(wkwong91 @ May 6 2014, 05:13 PM) Thanks again hahaStill a lot of room for improvements la QUOTE(ruitian97 @ May 6 2014, 05:08 PM) Anybody has some sample pictures using Tamron 18-200mm lens? I'm planning on getting one. Will it cause much blur as it doesn't have Vibration Reduction?(TRAVELLING PURPOSE) Is it ok just for auto mode? QUOTE(wkwong91 @ May 6 2014, 05:13 PM) Usually these kind of wide focal length lenses suffer from a lot of distortion right? Not too sure, never used one before haha |
