Hi, guys, i got myself a betta last night.
I have read around about betta care.
I have 1 question.

I am looking for a bottom feeder for my betta tank(1gallon + Water-filter).
Can i put small freshwater shrimps with my betta?

Bought 1 Yamato/Amano shrimp (1inch) and 1 Panda catfish.
The shrimp is occasionally poked by the betta but the catfish seems like stressed for the lack of it's own kind....

Fellow Bettards and Bettalins!

Quick questions :

1) Frozen Blooworms safe to feed bettas everyday?

2) Are there any breeders in Setapak?

3) Can male bettas Change color as fast as a female? I think i have a male betta that looks like a female and it builds a bloody good bubble nest.

Question 1 : How do you guys prepare the ketapang leaves?
Wash with tap water > Dry in Sun > Place dried leave in a water container for about 24 hours > pour water into tank ?

Question 2 : Is it a problem if the water in the betta tank is too dark yellow from the ketapang tea water?

Guys, One of my fake Female got pinecone/dropsy!
Currently i have quarantined it to a icecream container with ketapang tea.
What Should i do now?

a) Flush it.
b) Release it to a pond.
c) keep in box until it dies a slow death.
d) .....suggestion....

Applied dropsy medicine solution, lfs guy said yellow powder is only for external problems ......is he right?

Medicine cocktail? Is this ok?
Ketapang tea + Antibacteria Medicine + Yellow Powder + Salt

Anyone here successfully cured dropsy?
