1) do i have to put anti-chlorine into the water ?
2) is my betta stressed when after a day i see their tail is all fanned out all the time.

pray to god that my betta dont die on me. i'm not good in keeping fishes. really.

Usually those in the region of price from 5 to 20 ringgit are those longfins that are called delta or superdelta. They don't make the grade for show but are great for display and for beginners. It's ok to keep them just for pets and for display purposes. Later on, you can move to show pieces. That's where the challenge and fun starts.  rclxms.gif

yea good for beginners like me smile.gif otherwise give me a good one i dont know how to jaga also wasted.

Can we put some real plants into the tank ? some friend told me better not so till now my tank is so bare

you like to try on juv or adult size?
some newbie like to try groom from juv some are interested in spawning...so may i know which one is u?
if fr juv, i'm abit worried that i'll kill the fish.

what is the work involve in caring a juv vs an adult fish ? if its about the same then i dont mind even a juv, can be a different eye-opening experience for me smile.gif

GymBoi,

welcome ! i'm also a newbie into rearing a betta smile.gif glad to have another newbie on board as well.

You can use those 1 litter bottle cut it into half as ur tank. Otherwise go out and buy a RM 2.50 - RM 3 betta tank also can. Depending on individual.

I bought my RM 3 tank coz I prefer having them in square tanks smile.gif and i can see them in a row compare to the round ones which i feel is taking up space.

I'm one of those who have them in my room. They dont need pump just need to change water every 2 days or so and feed them food.

Just for your info, yewlin sell betta too and he got nice ones available. wink.gif

GymBoi, sorry for the late reply. I have no problem in sleeping with the fishy inside my room. infact i think they are looking at me while i'm sleeping coz they are just beside my bed.
