^^ I reared a couple of beta back a couple of years. had a lot of them, but my favourite was the halfmoon variety. Crowntails are not bad too. One of my favourite beta could do a trick. It would jump out from the water and touch my fingers. ^^ It was cool. I'm thinking about rearing again but I don't know where to get good breeds. Any suggestions?

If you want the shrimps alive please don't do it. ^^" My betta fries eat brine shrimp. maybe it'll strike a cord in your betta that brine shrimp and your shrimp ain't so different after all.
