Using aged water would be the best But direct tap water can be used also ...

you got no choice to change the water every 3 days. if not, slimes will start to build up on the tank's wall which later will harms fish ...If you want, daily water change is the best ...hehehe

Aged water topic - I actually did not age my water! Change 100 %, using tap water which is after gone through the filter. No problem at all to my fishes (2 females and 2 males). For the HM I really like, I add some drops of 'black water', he seems more active.

Jit, are you selling those in the pictures??? If yes, how much? Let me have some idea to save my money, haha. Also, how old are you?

sifuu freshyyf, i read from somewhere that the filter will filter oout some of the mineral, so the water may lack of some mineral there, so u still need to add some mineral to the water, the details i forgot aldi, but u can do some google for filter water .... notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Please dun call me sifu, I am just a fresher.

Ya, I read some articles also about the mineral reduction. Anyhow, they still survive well. If you still doubt about the filter water, add the 'black water' or so-called 'black extract'. They love it! Otherwise, put the Ketabang leaves. I found that the betta are really easy to raise. I change my water only once a week but feed them once a day, 2 or 3 pellets a day. Both of them flared at me each time they saw me approaching, probably hungry..... hehe. Advise is feed less is better than more.
