Update on PK Le Bleu II.

He's a-okay right now. Fed him some pea flesh (take some frozen peas, cook them, peel the skin and feed him mashed up bits of the flesh inside) and he's been pooping. Swims just fine now. Since he's prone to getting constipation, I think I'm going to feed him some pea once a week together with his pellets and FD bloodworms.

Happy happy! laugh.gif

Hello Guys.
I just thought of something. Ramadhan is just around the corner. After ramadhan will be hari raya. And we know what that means... BALIK KAMPUNG!!! rclxm9.gif
I have had my betta for half a year now and has never left him unattended. Ill be going back to batu pahat/kluang this raya (which is 3 hours drive from bangi) for one whole week. Do you guys bring along your bettas when going away for a long period of time or do you guys hand them over to someone else for safekeeping? I prefer to bring him along but im afraid he could not survive the 3 hour journey (heat and all) sweat.gif

ill be going at most one week i think. err is your method proven? no health implications? blink.gif
how extra do you feed them? im afraid i give too much than become too obess and then die like my friend's betta (sad story, someone accidently/purposely/unintentionally poured a whole lot of pellets into his betta bowl at his office. by the time he came back after his one day leave, the betta already looked like a goldfish very gemuk. after one week died one sad.gif . till this day still dont know the culprit)

Haha.... I not sure how too... I also surprised that the survival rate was 100%... Thought the 1 month old fellas would surely have some casualties... But none perished in the transporting part.. Lost 2 during the reacclimatizing part though...

All i did was just fill a pail with quarter volume of clean treated water, leave it alone for a day, transferred the fishes the morning i was to leave, and put them in the front seat base there. Then i start car go lo.... biggrin.gif I even moved my tanks with me.... rclxms.gif
