The blue fish is considered a delta (anywhere from 90 to 160 degrees) and a superdelta is anywhere between 160 to 179 degrees.

He has a very very stable blue line. His fish are abit pricey but well worth the price. If you want to visit him, just let me know. Added on March 29, 2007, 2:02 am QUOTE(Ravenz @ Mar 28 2007, 11:19 PM) thanks, btw what is a ddr ? Usually those in the region of price from 5 to 20 ringgit are those longfins that are called delta or superdelta. They don't make the grade for show but are great for display and for beginners. It's ok to keep them just for pets and for display purposes. Later on, you can move to show pieces. That's where the challenge and fun starts. not as nice as urs i like ur red one the tail and its colour is like a fan veeeeery beautiful ! oh yea, umm, me not a "bro" ler Added on March 28, 2007, 11:21 pm selling for 2 to 6 ? thats very cheap ! goodness, dont tempt me pls, they are all very beautiful and i like the ones in green, in bright red and many more others with beautiful tail as well. Looks like I've been neglecting this thread for too long.
It's fallen behind in terms of hit count. |

QUOTE(ynneb25 @ Nov 3 2007, 11:23 AM) the thing is when it comes to the 'practice' of betta breeders is that alot of betta breeders rather kill their culls than give their culls away as their culls still contain the genes of a quality betta. Actually, it's not only that. Passing culls out to others actually does two things: it perpetuates the undesirable genes in the gene pool and it also perpetuates the notion that these pedigree bettas are cheap and common. Both of which they are not. Hope this clears things up for the others who haven't become betta hobbyist. anyway, this was wut i encountered when i was a 'practising' betta breeder This post has been edited by Jitticus: Nov 5 2007, 05:06 PM |

QUOTE(ynneb25 @ Nov 6 2007, 08:46 AM) so Mr. VP....heard alot of stories from the oldtimers of the club or society(tq simon)... I'm sure its only fair that I know who you are as I can see you know who I am. Why don't you introduce yourself to the rest of us betta kakis here. Added on November 14, 2007, 3:15 pmMaybe you can tell us why you're no longer keeping bettas, Benny. I know many old kakis are no long keeping them because of time contraints. In fact Simon's also not keeping many bettas. As for all the news he tells you about, I am really intrigued that someone who doesn't come to any betta events is so up to date. He must get his news from the somewhere. Also, as in most cases, we shouldn't trust everything we hear, as facts change as it goes from person to person.
