If you want to prevent oil from your skins, stains, saliva, sweats, - look for a brand with good oleophobic coating.

Always remember, not all screen protector are made to be the same unless it's from the same factory. (subjective)

There are many types of screen protectors in the market.

Here's some of the most commonly found type

1. PET film
- Hardness type - 3H, 4H, 5H (pencil hardness)
- Sub category - Clear, HD Clear, Crystal Clear, Oleophobic coated, Matte, oleophobic coated Matte, privacy, diamond
- Price - As low as RM0.60 depending on the types, materials, brands, sellers
- Installation - Dry, Easy to install

2. Silicone Film
- Hardness Type - 6H to 8H (pencil hardness)
- Sub Category - Clear, HD Clear, Crystal Clear, Non yellowish, Non sticky, military grade, Using same material to wrap helicopter blades
- Price - As low as RM10 excluding postage, tax, brands
- Installation - Wet, Risky as it involves getting your devices wet. No issue for waterproof phone

3. Glass Screen Protector
- Hardness type - 8H to 9H (pencil hardness)
- Sub Category - Soda lime, enhanced soda lime, chemical compressed, Extra strong, Bullet Proof, Anti shatter, Explosion proof, Asahi glass, gorilla glass, Corning Gorilla Glass, Sapphire Glass, fiber glass and a lot of other names
- Price - As low as RM13 depending on brands, types of glass, sellers, authenticity, OEM
- Installation - Dry, very easy to install

It seems confusing for some with so many types, brands, features, and most important pricing.

Golden rule of not getting mislead by any sellers, do your homework. There's reason why people prefer glass sp instead of PET film and silicone film and vice versa. And there's a good reason why Corning gorilla glass is chosen as the perfect choice for the screen of your devices.

My current set up.

Nillkin nature TPU  clear case + nillkin glass sp

2 days of using = casing -  not too bad except that my sweaty palm makes the case sticky and smudged.
Glass sp -  Since I'm a regular user of imos for the past 2 years,  I find that the oleophobic coating is worse than imos OPC 3SAS Oleophobic PET film sp series and the touch experience is very poor compare to imos. But if u ask me,  I also bought few other different brands glass sp,  some are more expensive than nillkin..  But the oleophobic coating is worse than nillkin.  So I can safely claim in budget brand,  nillkin is one of the good one out there.  But if u want a better experience,  Corning glass still a better buy.

imos 3D Corning glass screen protector + innerexile hydra self healing case + full body wrap.

Bought the innerexile hydra today.  It's so clear that it looks like no case at all..  But the weakness is,  it has too many cutouts which exposed the phone to risk of scratches.  Hence,  a full body wrap is required if want to protect those exposed area.
