Is sinus surgery worth it? Did consider it long ago but never really go for it. I use to have serious sinus during my childhood Around mid 20 I start jogging and running alot, and the symptom seems to reduce, only gotten sick if the weather is really bad, otherwise I don't encounter any sinus at all. Did read up that by inhaling a lot of oxygen during running or work out, it helps the air flow and keep the nose moist.

QUOTE(ExCrIpT @ Apr 2 2014, 01:33 AM) I had my sinus removed ten years ago and it was kinda worth it. The operation itself wasn't the issue, it's just the recovery period that's a pain in the S. Before then I am always sick due to sinus inflammation but after removing it, I get to sleep in peace Back then it costs me are 2k plus Does it had any after effect, i hear various facts like u can't do swimming etc My had improved a lot, just every twice a year i gotten very sick and nose block, usually during chinese new year time where it's dry or mid of year where haze from our neightbou country invade, other than that, unless i eat too much heaty food like lamb or fried stuff, i usually dun have sinus problem surfaced on normal occasion.

QUOTE(ExCrIpT @ Apr 2 2014, 04:23 PM) So far no problem even going for a swim. Before removing it, been suffering most of the time, swimming alone will cause nose blockage. Was very sensitive to dust and my sinus get affected a lot but for more than ten years it's been fine. ic, my usually affected by weather, temperature and fried food or heaty food like lamb, when i accumulated a measurable amount of heat i will go sorethroat, then sinus, then fever, very troublesome as it cost me a week or 2 to recover.
