Okay guys, sorry for the trouble but I've searched around the forum and I couldn't get the answer.

I just bought D3 yesterday and I was trying to install the game from the cd. But it stuck at "Updating Battle.net agent" for quite sometime

here is the screen shot

I searched around the net and I've tried most of the method to fix

I've tried running with compatibility of windows xp service pack 3 which the client crash half way

I've tried running as admin

I've tried using the online client to download the game and it gave me the same thing (Stuck at updating battle.net agent)

I've tried setting my secondary logon to automatic

I've tried disabling my antivirus

I've tried installing the battle.net agent 1st before installing the same but it gave me the same thing as well

I've activated my diablo in my battle net account already

I have no idea what to do anymore. I keep it running for 30mins and it still stays the same. (in fact, it is still running as i'm typing this)

My computer is running windows 7(Service pack 1) 64bits

So any sifu having the same problem as me? or have solution for it?

I really wanna play this game sad.gif

Well, I went to battlenet forum and read their technical support thread.

So what I did was stop all the background programs, disabling my antivirus, delete the battle net folder in programdata, and run as admin.

And, it managed to solve the problem and it is installing right now.

Oh ya, cd's client is outdated so I'm using the online client which I downloaded from battlenet.

Anyway, thanks Memphiz for your reply and those who view the thread. Appreciate your time but I'm going to close this thread now as the problem have been solved.

Thanks
