i have 8 cats at my house, and i want them to have some sort of ID, in case they go out and get lost(and found). i figured i could get small dog tags to attach on their collars, but don't know where i can order them with engraving and all...

or are there easier ways to ID cats?

Er microchips? Cause if you want custom dogtags for cats (LOL the irony of it all!) then ya gotta buy clean, empty tags and engrave at a mall where they have this sorta service.

mircochip them? tags u can buy nowadays from pet shop;there is one in taipan,usj that does that.i also saw one in mid valley.

Ikano has a place selling engraved stuff... for pet tags is about RM30 on really nice stainless steel that looks like silver to me. And you can even engrave picture on as well. The shop is right infront of Padini.

yeah yeah, this is what i'm looking for. there's one in midvalley? are there any in the bukit bintang area? sungei wang? i'm going to lowyat this weekend to do some shopping, and some place nearby or on the way would be nice(from shah alam > kl central > imbi).

i won't need microchips, i don't think. just need something so that in case they somehow get outdoors, neighbours or passer-bys would notice the tag with the house number engraved on it and return them.

LOL that's in an upscale mall like Ikano. Try looking around like MINES shopping mall or Kotaraya, it'd be cheaper.

i don't want all that fancy picture engraving, just some letters and numbers. how small do those dog tags get, though?

hey fren, go get the normal tag from pet shop...i think priced around 10 like that only, but for the engraving you need to do it at shopping malls...go look around i know last time subang parade have it...cause i made mine there...but i forgot how much it cost...

Engravings cost less. Just gotta source for empty ones. Do around 8 and you might get a discount.

the one in subang parade used to be in front of coffeebean, ground floor. but renovation now moved up to 1st floor near to i think called.... johnson fitness or something.. the shop owner bobby.

Well..u can get the tag at any petshop...There's an engraving store in amcorp...RM 3 (minumum) and it's 30 cents per letter(if i recall correctly) much cheaper than those done at little push cart engravers in bigger shopping malls if u ask me.
