Hi guys, purchasing Lego Creator Maersk Triple E 10241 from a friend who works in that shipping company, is RM700 COD a fair price? Anyone wants to tag along so, maybe can ask him further discount....
*
Ya, I think that's a pretty good price. If he'll go lower for a bulk buy let us know, I'm sure there're more than a few interested thumbup.gif

Nice  thumbup.gif I always think the polybag is more collectible than actual set  tongue.gif
I got mine from Amazon US for RM1370 include postage to Malaysia. That time currency exhange is USD1 = RM3.5  sweat.gif  but still the lowest I can find at that time. You can try check it out.

At the time during my purchase no tax and other related cost had been charged. There is the thing for Amazon US, you need to check each set because some big set did not have tax. This are the set that I checked dont have tax currently (As of 6th April 2014):

EV3 - RM 1342.89
Tower Bridge - RM 1040.94
Opera House - RM 1368.64

Price include postage and of course valid if buy 1 set only, if you buy more than 1 it will be taxed. Unfortunately all modular and HH is taxed and not recommend to buy. I dont know how this happen maybe got some loophole in their system. They will use DHL for shipping (5 - 10 days) and I never had problem with custom.  You can do trial and error for small set on which combination will not get taxed. Last time I tried 1 MetalBeard + 1 BTTF + 1 Jet Rocka did not get taxed  smile.gif
So LLM got the exclusive Firetruck Mech set, now got some reason to visit LLM Big Shop  thumbup.gif

Surprisingly no tax? Or included already hmm.gif in any case, thanks for the info thumbup.gif

The show is not bad. But I do like R2D2.
More than 1 will burn a big hole in my pocket.
*
I'd say depends on whether you intend to continue collecting modulars. If yes, then TH. Else R2-D2 is a nice standalone set

Long time since i had a 'picit-picit' session for CMF..so heres the guide for CMF Simpsons biggrin.gif

1. Homer
Feel for 1×2 tile remote control and 1×1 round stud donut piece

2. Bart
Feel for the two wheels (they bend) and the skateboard deck.

3. Marge
Feel for her hair – it’s long and bulky. To make sure, feel for her purse.

4. Lisa
Feel for her saxophone.

5. Maggie
Feel for her teddy-bear.

6. Grampa
Feel for 2×2 square tile and a cone-ish head. He is one of two minifigures that have the tile with movable legs. Don’t get him confused with Marge.

7. Ned Flanders
Feel for his toolbox and cup with handle.

8. Krusty the Clown
Feel for his cream-pie. His hair feels like two handles of a
jackhammer.

9. Milhouse van Houten
Feel for 2×2 square tile and kid legs. His head is bulkier than Ralph’s. Feel for his big nose if you’re unsure.

10. Ralph Wiggum
Feel for 2×2 square tile and kid legs. His head is smooth and round, although flattened somewhat on top.

11. Apu Nahasapeemapetilon
Feel for his Squishee cup.

12. Nelson Muntz
Feel foe his baseball bat with a raised edge around the handle.

13. Itchy
Feel for his club.

14. Scratchy
Feel for his axe and tail.

15. Chief Wiggum
Feel for his police-hat shape. His loudhailer has a vertical handle and he has a small billystick (club).

16. Mr Burns
Feel for his carbon rod (lightsaber piece) and fish bowl. The fish bowl feels like a minifig head.

this might be a good idea since 1 box guaranteed 3 sets right? only thing is that the price is supposed to increase - no budget for army-building if i delve into this too ever since my wife decided she wants to start collecting modulars cry.gif

I odered jack sparrow voodoo minifigs in BL US seller..

and i got the wrong leg sad.gif

emailed them already..

anyone experiences with this?
we need to ship back to US the wrong leg to them?

ah spoil the mood!
*
this has happened to me quite a few times. so far they've always resent me the corrected items FOC, and they never ask to resend back to them. after all it was their mistake. generally US and EU sellers are good that way

hi.. may i know where i can find lego random pack in kl?
*
do you mean the CMF (collectible minifigures)? if so then there's online resellers, the Lego shops @ Bangsar Village 2 and The Curve, Brickboy Toys @ Midvalley and Tropicana - to name a few. Hamley's @ 1Utama also has them, and sometimes Toys R Us and Isetan and Parkson (the latter 2 only for Lego Movie CMF if i recall correctly).
