3D Printers will not have the tolerance accuracy of moulded plastic.

Anyway, on again, off again Lego fan here.

Had many sets when I was young, all in a store room somewhere at home in Malaysia.

A few years ago bought some bricks to make Mario 8-bit figures. Then last year went to Legoland Deutschland and bought a 10231 Space Shuttle.

Started to collect The Lego Movie minifigs recently and built an awesome double-decker couch.

Will share some pictures later after work.

853340 is quite expensive though.

20% off all Lego at the Toys R us here in Germany. Went browsing after work with the missus yesterday hoping to see if they have Simpsons minifigs. Not available yet. In the end spent €2,49 for Series 11 CMF and 20 mins trying to feel for the Gingerbread Man.

I've got a couple of expiring EUR10 off EUR30 purchase vouchers.

Can anyone suggest me a good set around the range EUR30 (~RM150) or a combination of sets totaling the same price?

Looking for sets with nice minifigs.

What do you guys think of 76007 Malibu Mansion Attack for EUR32? I like the Tony Stark and Pepper Potts figures.

whats the criteria to be a VIP?
Anybody can be VIP. Just need to register online or at a Lego Store.

Points with every purchase which translates to roughly 5% discount on future purchases or sometimes with double VIP points you get effectively 10% off.

Sometimes I get stuff at S@H if they have exclusive gifts but mostly I get them at malls, Amazon or Toysrus because they sometimes have 20% off even.

Just got my Simpsons MF last weekend after feeling for it for 30 minutes. Got 2 Barts and 2 Maggies. 10% off the purchase with loyalty card at the mall. Returned and got the missing Chief Wiggum and Itchy.

I gotta stop with the purchases this month. Space constraints. Holding out for June to get Ecto-1.

Supported.

Suggestion on the Iron Man Hall of Armor. While it's a nice set in the point of view of a collector, it does not seem to have a play feature. Lego tend to give points to sets which as some "play" in it.

Lego demand is really getting stronger in Asia. Too bad Lego is not a public company.

Star Wars no hope i think, cause Hasbro complaint them. Lol
*

It's more of a license issue that Star Wars minifigs cannot be sold separately. Look at the current magnets for example, all of them glued.

I don't think Hasbro has any say because Star Wars is under Disney and Disney, Star Wars and Marvel have always been a strong partner with Lego.

simpson packet got dot dot dot or not?
I saw online got marking to identify the.figs~
Not sure true.or not haha~

It is only consistent with the same batch no. e.g. same box.

At least from my experience, feeling it at the mall which has a few boxes of packs mixed in a large basket, the dots are not the same for the same figs.

I got the updated version too about 2 yrs ago.

It seems if you have the older version, Lego will ship you an "upgrade" kit. Not sure if the offer is still on or if it's available in Msia.

I was at Bruchsal Palace for a Lego exhibition called "Faszination Lego". Klötzlebauer, a local LUG displayed their collection and creations. I will post more photos soon.

Here's a recreated Dagobah swamp scene.

Just got around uploading all the pictures taken at a Lego exhibit run by a local LUG. Too many pictures to share here, therefore here's the link to my shared album.

I personally liked some of the brick built animals at the zoo.

They also ran a contest on brick built cakes. The visitors can vote on the creations and 3 lucky people will win Lego sets.

I'm heading back to Malaysia for a couple of weeks in July.

Do you think it's worth to bring back some Lego sets for you guys? Is the EUR price lower than in Malaysia? There is also the trend that Euro will weaken due to possibility of ECB lowering the interest rate to zero or negative.

I'm not too sure if it's worth the effort.
