No they are not original Lego accessories. Lego never encourage violence so they never make life-like weapons so for AFOLs like me who wants something more realistic will have to go for third party manufacturers like this one. I have to say this brand is reputed to be very good and fits snugly with our Lego minifigs, I will report back with photos to share with everyone. 
Haha! Yeah, seems like it is working well to encourage people to participate there. Downside is that it is at the expense of our forum...
