Speaking of which, my wife just messaged me that my Ecto-1 and Balloon Cart has arrived!
*
did you order from Lego shop directly? or from other online store?

QUOTE(Bigfoot-X @ Jun 5 2014, 11:59 PM)
Not sure if it was mentioned but if you do go to In's Point. Remember to bring lots of cash! Believe they don't take credit cards.

I personally went to Let's Go where they accept credit card.
*
yay thanks for more depth info... so next time i know where to use cash and where to use CC

btw i just got this from ebay biggrin.gif

so far i have buy all my parts online in bricklink. mostly from sellers who have tons of bricks. i try to order at least 10 of each item. so for first few mocs will be quite costly but later as u make more, the cost is cheaper because you have stock already.

initially i thought buying those brick tubs was good but turns out i seldom use red/blue/yellow.

one other way is to buy a set that has many related pieces for your moc. for instance if u want a lot of tan slopes and light bluish grey slope u can get the lone ranger silver shootout set.

how is the S & H in bricklinks ?

bricklink is just a online marketplace of many seller. so the s&h depends but no issue so far cos i only mostly buy parts that come in envelops or small boxes. there's dent and creases on the boxes but inside no issue. of so many parts the only damage part i got was a broken staircase shipped from thailand

however always pm and ask for the shipping quote before you commit to buy.

u buy from which country mostly?

Putting the cart before the horse.  Apa punye orang.

EU most likely more expensive.  But for me it's the cheapest way, because importing from the US will incur VAT + US sales tax for me.

I'll most likely skip this though.

lol! Some friend you have there... tongue.gif

PM me if you need help to order this, I don't mind order for you from Amazon. No extra charges, you just have to come to me to collect when it is here.

One thing to note though, as far as I know for Blu-ray we share the same region coding as USA so no problem buying from the USA. If you buy from EU the region coding is different and will not work on our players (especially Sony) unless you have multi-region blu-ray players. With DVD we are different region coding with USA but today most DVD players sold here (except Sony again) are already multi-region. Anyway, my info could be outdated so maybe all the blu-ray players now are also multi-region?

Another thing to watch out for when buying from EU is the language and subtitle version. icon_rolleyes.gif
Haul like this say no money? doh.gif laugh.gif
Oh, must be extra careful with mine then...
Wah! This is a con job! vmad.gif
Jelly!!!
That explains the heavy traffic outside Mid Valley, passed by around 10:20am and the carparks already fulled and traffic along Old Klang Road is very heavy...
