Back in WP8.0, no apps could save video to the user library because the OS itself doesn't allow it. Because of this, most app just resort to saving the video within the app itself. That's why you can't access it through the Video app (only search in Video folder) or the Files app (App storage are hidden and encrypted)
Native 8.1 app are however capable of saving video to the user library.
