Last weekend I finally decided to switch off Cortana just to see how big a difference in battery life it would be. Perhaps not surprisingly, it's quite a lot. I almost got back my 1 charge can last me 22 hours of usage back. Just slight drop to 19 hours but I think it's possible just me using my phone a bit more during the weekend. With Cortana on, I can get around 13 - 15 hours max per charge. Usually it's 13 hours more often. Sadly I instantly miss the Quiet Hours feature that came with Cortana. Begs the question, why is Quiet Hours (DND Mode) tied to Cortana? I also miss the abilities to easily set alarms, people reminders, people calling of Cortana. Pros & cons as usual hmm.gif

All Lumia 1520 sold here will have wireless charging as standard.
AFAIK, only the 16GB AT&T variant has the wireless charging feature removed.

Ya awfully quiet these few days. Movie maker is an app u have to buy, doesn't come with the OS. Right now just enjoying my battery life back to normal without Cortana. laugh.gif

Got Nokia updates on Touch and Network+

Seems like the Touch update could solve the tap/scroll register issue.

I've updated mine... Still in monitoring progress.

Hi.

Can suggest me where can I buy good screen protector near KL, Putrajaya, Bangi? My current screen protector already peel off. This one also finger print magnet sad.gif

I don't want matte type.

This screen protector also nice I think. But last time I bought cheap screen protector and apply by myself to my L920 not very good due to particle inside.

There's a store in Lowyat, ground floor. RM20 for a matte SP and he applies it in 30 seconds, I shit you not. I couldn't believe it myself the first time I saw. The next week, I replaced my Nexus 7 SP for RM20 and he did it in 41 seconds, I timed it. Super efficient.

It's a huge store, near the entrance. I think the name is OA Hyperstore, if I'm not mistaken. Just ask for ah Ken, short guy with spectacles. smile.gif
