Long time ProShot user here. It was great before Nokia Cam but now a lot of functions just overlap. It still have some extras like full-res time lapse, real-time filters that can be customed and saturation/contrast control. It also actually saves your settings unlike Nokia Cam and you can put up to 3 custom presets (counting Manual mode).

I still prefer ProShot and it's still my go-to app for taking pics but atm resolution is capped at 10 MP.

Oh there's a native HDR mode as well.

If you're just looking to have full manual controls over your camera I think Nokia app works just fine and there's plenty of other free alternatives. Not sure if it's worth it to buy but if it goes on a deal I say definitely get it.

p/s now i disable cortana from running background... she eat my battery a lot (refer battery sense)..

seems like WP 8.1 seperate all things to standalone including settings as well.....inside all mess up...by the way, this is not final version, i hope they will categories it. hope to see final version fix all things~ still like WP8.1

yeah thats y...previously my phone can tahan 24- 30hours per charge with the same amount of things i done..

hmm..i have no idea as well.... but mine now is 1% for 1hour in WP8.1...if keep use it..kinda consume battery also. just use until nokia cyan release

just for info, for those who prefer normal date display (date/mth/year) u can set the regional format to english (malaysia) and still can get cortana. just change country /region to US and leave regional format to English (Malaysia)

Haha that's great for u. I have been hitting the 15 app limit since L920. Always need to juggle my background apps just to get my live tiles to properly update especially when I'm trying new apps.

Proshot is worth to buy, but honestly Nokia Camera does the job well enough now I no longer use Proshot.
